I saw Corelli 4 times and Tebaldi once. Recordings miss so much of her voice. This gorgeous opera couldn't do better than these two. Makes me melt!! Corelli never ceases to amaze me. Such beauty and power. I treasure his autographs I got!!

THIS SUPRISINGLY BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE IS THE LOWEST WATERMARK FOR TEBALDI AS IT WAS IN THESE PERFORMANCES THAT EXHAUSTION FINALLY CAUGHT UP WITH HER AND AFTER A FEW PERFORMANCES SHE RETIRED FROM THE STAGE FOR A YEAR TO REST AND RETRAIN.........THIS IS ALL HISTORY THOUGH I AM LISTENING TO HER AND HAVE TO ADMIT SHE DOUNDS AMAZINGLY GOOD...EVEN...STUNNING.......BUT SHE WAS NOT CONTENT AND OBVIOUSLY FELT SHE COULD DO BETTER ......BUT ON WHAT I HAVE HEARD SO FAR .....THERE IS NO ONE TO TOUCH HER IN THIS OPERA.

Es uno de los mejores monólogos que he escuchado. Renata recita sin exagerar ni gritar. Brava.
