I am disappointed that this guy didn’t get an official name in any LEGO media.

I had completely forgotten until just a few minutes ago that I owned a huge Lego pirate ship as a kid. Fairly certain it was the Black Seas Barracuda. I also remember getting the Imperial Trading Post a little later. My parents really spoiled me lol. Thanks for posting this concentrated dose of nostalgia

These were some of the last lego sets I ever got before I thought I was to grown up for lego they really were great back when lego had their own lines

Thank you for this. I was able to pinpoint exactly what Castle I had. It was 6075 from 1981, those shields were unforgettable to me. That would put me at 9 and I'm 52 now. Where did the time go...

My childhood ship 😭. I always wanted “6286 Skull's Eye Schooner”, it looked so cool on one of the promotional magazines: big with conventional and easily accessible captain’s cabin. But when we came to the LEGO store old Schooner was sold out and replaced by this one 😭😭😭. Well, still loved it and played with it a lot, but for me it lacked a proper isolated captain’s cabin 😞

smooth animations, playfull background music and cute mini-stories. + the background with its color scheme has that classical 90s vibe to it. Very well done 🤩👍

I find it strange that lego didn't make a series with vikings because their story is this and it's a popular historical character. Lego is one of the best toys for young children ever made but they could be so much better, I think it seems lego has had trouble finding designers and ideas.
