This is sooo cool! I'm loving making these bases. Guess I should stop and make some houses to go on top of them. Playing with ModPodge is one of my favorite things to do.
But when you play with Mod Podge, you do have to peel it off your fingers afterwards. That's a bit of a pain.
@@PaperGlitterGlue I just run water over my fingers. Comes off pretty easily.

I remember these when I was a kid we had a witch one too.
I saw some witch versions. I thought about making one, but stuck with simpler designs.

Lucy, I was wondering if you have ever crackle painted the trees? You know, paint then glue then paint again, like you do on the siding of some of the houses. I was thinking that might give a really neat bark look! Anyway, just a thought!! Thank you for another really fun tutorial, I love your classes!!!!

If there’s a concern about sharp, pokey ends just bend the ends over themselves and wrap with the paper. Thanks for the demo!

I have never been a fan of the bottle brush trees, they just looked too perfect and fake. These are beautiful and so easy!! And coloring them whatever color you want makes it even better. I do really like the natural for fall though!! Thank you so much Lucy, this project just blew my mind, never would've imagined how to make these!!!

I really had a good time at work when I table. With a table w cloth on my shoulders, two place settings on it, and my head was in a plastic pumpkin as the center piece. A worker rested his arm on me and didn't realize it was a person.
I bet that was hysterical when your co-worker realized that you were inside that outfit!
