Kevin Rider - Along with your true heart felt desire to seek even the God of the Bible are other beings on the spiritual side, that if the Bible is true, it says God created with their own will. He created humans, but created these other beings before man we now refer to as angels. Creating them all at once to share in the wonderous beginnings of the bringing forth into existence all of His Creation. (Job 38:7 "...when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy") - Testimonies of people interacting with entities that aren't human doesn't prove the Bible is true, but is consistent with what the Bible says, that they exist and is one step closer to understanding the Truth, if the Bible is that Truth. If it is that Truth it also reveals angels following Lucifer's lead were thrown down with him. (Revelation 12:9 "And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world- he was thrown down to earth, and 'his' angels were thrown down with him.") - Because of what they had witnessed and experienced of God in perfect Holiness though His initial Creation and His relationship with them and all good things He created - for them later through their own God-given self-will choose to reject Him instead of staying apart of the love He has Created them in, they hardened their hearts towards Him in a way that was irreversible choosing instead self-exaltation in doing their own will apart from their Creator who graciously made them. This is why God has us believe through 'faith through His written Word the Bible', and not by sight in experiencing more of His holiness 'for now'. Because in our weakness and our love of sin, it would have the effect of hardening our hearts against Him when we sin, because we would be choosing it over Him in all His revelation of Himself to us and we can't handle that for now. - It did this to Pharoah during the Exodus, and the Pharisees who were eye-witnesses in Matthew 12:22-32 where Jesus says to them (the Pharisees) in vs 31-32 "Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven..." So it is 'faith through the Word of God' that we learn - what He knows we need to know and is why He had these things recorded for us down through the centuries to know of Him and His ways. If you find the Bible to be the Truth - it tells us these fallen angels are out to deceive mankind so that we will be separated from God our Creator with them eternally. If 'Plan A' is not working and someone's getting close to Biblical Truth - there is always a 'Plan B with a mix of "Christianity" - which is a foot in the door to allow other belief systems tied to these things to creep in to attempt to throw you off from the simple Gospel, dependance, guidance, and devotion to the God of the Bible. It's wise to be aware that you'd be getting guidance from the 'unseen realm' and you really have no way of knowing who it is giving this kind of guidance when it's carried out this way. Think of all the people deceived through familiarity, mixing what they know to be true and what they don't know like who is communicating with them on the internet in order to deceive them into doing what they want them to do. - How much more important on the spiritual side of things to be able to see and know the ways of the one communicating with us - that is revealed to us in the Bible - where someone's eternal existence and relationship with God is at stake.

@@shawnarider916 I have a relationship to the living God through prayer and fasting. The bible is a collection of stories. The old testament which comes from a completely different faith that rejects the lord. From my experience they are either allegorical or they are not the same being as the father of yeshua. An ancient Christian belief. There definitely is an adversary. They deceive humanity on an unimaginable scale. But the truth is the corr of who and what we are. That's the part that belongs tp the father and the lord. That's the spirit. But fighting the flesh that they changed is hard. To live in the world but not be of the world is hard at times.

For Him to oversee the writings of 40 authors through at least 1500 years of recorded history? Is like no other collection of books that can or has been written and has a consistency throughout all 66 books reflecting to mankind 'all of our shortcomings' through the written out lives of these people through history. We can relate these to our everyday lives, struggles, how we are tempted, and how we fall short making known to us our own condition, in which even the best of mankind in our hearts if we're honest will recognize that we are not right. The Bible is pointing the way as a whole in both the 'Old and New Testament' - there is no resolution brought to fruition in the Old Testament only, but gives an account of the Israelites who's history God establishes to bring about the needed solution for the problem. Foretold in over 300 prophecies scattered throughout the books written hundreds of years apart the need for a coming Messiah that is clearly revealed in the New Testament. God being (separate from His Creation) became a man to establish His Justice for our rebellion - but through His Mercy taking 'our' punishment upon Himself that we deserve. God became - the man Jesus living out the life of a man that 'maintains perfect personal relational connection with the God of Creation', which we have not done, - as a Son to His Father at One in obedience to Him. - Living as a man in this 'fallen world' He is able to relate to us in what we go through our weaknesses and temptations - but being God was able to live a perfect life. (Hebrews 4:15) - Since He is God and lived a perfect human life He was not guilty of separating Himself from God as we have 'all' have done through decisions our own self-will - but able to uphold Justice to be punished and die in 'our' place for all who would believe and accept His finished work for them. (John 19:30 ...he said, "It is finished," and he bowed his head and gave up His spirit.) He then shows from His resurrection that He has overcome the curse of separation from God for us so to be restored in a right relationship with God our Creator through what 'He has accomplished' for us. done for us. - He pursued us because of His Love for us but not apart from His Justice. Is very different from the impersonal gods and god consciousness of other religions where we are ourselves are continually doing things to achieve a higher consciousness - while we live lives and have thoughts that continue show us that we are falling short in who we are in what we do or think that we shouldn't or don't door think that we should. Hey, thanks for the comment. It’s still a study I go back to, but it’s not a top priority of mine and still do not know where I land. However, one place I have arrived at is if Calvinism is true or not, God is good. Maybe in a few years I may have more clarity on the truth of it all in the scriptures ♥️

@@thenewagetojesusdiaries5830 Of course "if Calvinism is true or not" God is still good. But he is not "maximally good" under Calvinism, by definition. I know where the Holy Spirit lands. :) Hopefully you will see the great heart of God and not be tricked by the false piety of Calvinism.

It’s fine to discuss which Bible suits you because, at the end of the day it’s about how best to make the Word of God accessible for everyone and we’re all different.

Are you referring to the women’s bible? Of course, women have different roles to men so I think women’s study Bibles can really focus on that in scripture :)

Actually for me i think it’s more about “faith without works” issue … I’m doing nothing … I need to get busy … maybe I used to rely on ability more than work if that makes sense …
