Trawsfynnydd and Blaenau Ffestiniog Community Railway Company have now started restoration of the line.

it would be a fantastic project if restored, the WHR now runs again thru the Aberglaslyn pass, this line goes over to Bala via a viaduct and some of the line is now flooded but that didnt stop the BF line where that line was flooded by the hydro-electric station.
You can see the remains of the old bridge quite well!
