A lot of people have been asking about the vacuum lines and how they are routed. I will get a video put together when I get the engine back together. If I can find it in my older videos, I will post a second reply.

I am super excited for the headers. I will cleanup the engine area and make it look pretty sharp. Thank you for the tip. I do not feel like dealing with the fibers in the hands. Been there done that. lol. Take care.

Thanks. The starter isn't too hard on the F350s. They are much worse on a 2001 Chevy S10 4 cylinder. Those are horrible. lol

Yeah, I enjoy these trucks and really miss driving this one. I just have too many projects and need to buckle down and get this one running and driving again. Parts are sometimes the tricky part, but I have been fortunate to find what I need so far. Take care.

I am glad this has helped you. I didn't start at the distributor because I had just replaced the whole assembly a couple of months before. This little truck drives me crazy but it so much fun to drive. I hope you can figure out your gremlin, sometimes you end up in circles before you finally find what has been there the whole time. That is what I love about the hobby. Being able to educate people on what these things used to do and how much modern conveniences have changed over the years.

The May event is a swap meet that is held on their club grounds across from the fairgrounds. It is a great time if you are looking for your next project or need parts for a current project. If you are going out expecting to see a lot of neat displays, you would want to go to the August show. Just thought I would pass that information along.

Thanks. I was able to get a few of his engines out of his collection, which were mostly Briggs and his 1-1/2hp Sandwich Cub to add to my Sandwich collection. I plan to keep showing as the schedule permits. Thanks for the like and subscribe!

I haven’t installed the headliner bc I’m going to be putting a moon visor on it. There is a spot in the back pillar that I believe is deep enough to put it to hide it away.

Thank you for the advice. Did you leave the pump, or did you use the pulley from (I think) an Isuzu and different belt length modification? I was thinking about just leaving the pump and being done with it.

Welcome! It has been one that has been sitting on the backburner for a few years. Figured it was time to show it some attentions again.

I have the same hope, but this rain is really putting a crimp on things. I am starting to feel like I should be recording ark building videos. LOL!

I am excited to get back to tearing into this thing. It has been on the backburner for too long. I am not sure how many owners this truck has had... It started its life in Florida and end up in the rust belt. Poor thing. lol

Hope the video helped with the diagnosis. The fuel line was kind of a pain to remove, but you do not need to pull the gas tank like some do. I did have to cut it in a couple of places for easier removal. I routed the fuel line differently to make it easier for future repairs, and I put the fuel filter behind the side panel to make it easy to change. It was crazy how badly the fuel line had broken down over time and from how much fuel has changed over the years.

@@oldirongirl I’m sure that’s my same problem. I used it just earlier in the day to till my garden. Got home after going out for dinner with some sunlight still in the sky and boom. Suddenly it doesn’t want to run right anymore

Hello. You will have a great time at the show. I believe they have a tractor "parade" around the track in front of the grandstand, but the town does not do a true parade. I cannot remember which day that falls on. I would recommend going on Wednesday, Thursday, or early on Friday. A lot of people will start pulling out Friday afternoon since most have quite a distance to travel.

Closed crank case

Apparently, it had a cracked head. I have a new head for it along with exhaust manifolds, but I have a set of headers that I am toying around with the idea of installing.

It was at the Morrow County Fairgrounds in Ohio. Unfortunately it was a couple of weeks ago. I just figured out how to convert the Live Stream to public. lol Technology 🤪 They will have another consignment auction in the summer along with their Farm Days. It is not quite as huge but still a large number of items.

Yep sure is. 🙂 It sat for a couple of years in my dad’s collection. I think I need to check the float and the jets in the carb. Probably gunked up from gas sitting in the bowl.

I have the sister to the kinkade called a suburbanite. I haven’t tried to get that one going yet and have had it for years. The carb elbow is busted on it and never gave too much thought into fixing it. May be an upcoming project. 🤔
