Simple MAKO install for the RX-18 style 27 mHz and 2.4 gHz MFUs
If your tank has a microswitch that is functioning properly and your main cannon is firing correctly then it is a simple 1 cable plug in for your MAKO 2020.

MAKO Friend Or Foe Demo

MAKOs that have battle ID numbers where the first digit is the same are recognised as "Friends" and are not damaged by friendly IR at close range. This provides better team play for IR battles. Unit IDs are easily entered using a Sony TV remote at startup. Simply Press [MENU] then three digits. The indicator LEDs blink each time a number is press to let you know your selection has been received.

You'd think good slow speed was something new in tank controllers. This is Asp2 probably at least 2 maybe 3 years old now in my well worn bergepanzer III on a polished wood floor. May have hit the stick a bit hard on to get up the book but wasn't going to do 100 takes. The new Asp 2.5 has even better motor controllers and I've tinkered with the programming as well.

When the RC5HL Lite is upgraded to a new 2A voltage regulator there is no need to use a separate BEC to power servos. How to setup the recoil parameters with your radio. A decent programmable radio will allow you to set the recoil amount along with the speed of the recoil action. Adjusting the limits of the recoil servo channel will stop your servo from entering stall positions and thus extend the reliability and life of your servo.

Well... Dang... I've just now come across this video, watched it the whole way through, looked at the comments for a link, and then realized the video was from 2014... I'm converting a Heng Long tank into a Taigen tank and I'm running into sooooo many snags. So I've started trying to convert to actual rc.... And have run into snags with that as well. UGH! Back to the drawing board! I wonder if the Taigen motors can be replaced with actual hobby grade motors....

Good morning, I wanted to ask you how to set the gas of the dx6 for an rc tank, in the sense that, I binded the dx6 with a jgdpanther taigen metal edition, but despite everything works well, the gas only performs the forward gear, and if I push the stik gas all back the tank stops, and it is not possible to reverse, I'm going crazy for 3 weeks.....Thank you very much.

TK 6.0 is great board pair with this mako 2021. But if u have the new gen of HL to RC receiver will be much better as ppl can use their preferred radio
BUT by the time you buy a MAKO and then buy the converter board then you've paid for an Asp control board

Just bought myself a Radiolink AT9S. It comes with an extra spring and gimbal arm to convert to mode 0. It's a very nice (and fairly affordable) radio. I'm not sure how I'm going to program it to run a track loader though. Probably try to just use helicopter settings...
