I used the mess tins for many years, then ditched them for the Crusader set. You gave the alloy tins there which are a real pain to clean and keep clean. They blacken up almost immediately when used with the Army issue hexamine blocks and burner] and weigh a ton too with the burner and fuel blocks. They were decent enough in their day, but weren’t ever good. I hated them to be honest. I used all sorts of fry pans and pots , mostly Trangia as they were available in the shops, rather than our own mess tins. All countries have/had military issue cook sets and I think they were all better than the British mess tins. I’m not surprised about that either.

I'm no car expert by any means, but that thing screams kit car to me. And if I'm honest, It's not for me, I think It's uglier than my ex-wife. BUT, that may be just because the seats look Re-donkulous in that little body. Yeesh, I've been away from the internet for a bit (2 surguries) got me some catching up to do. No where near setup correctly and you should always try and exit a cut not reverse out of one. As someone commented below I suggest watching some bandsaw advice videos.
