i'm one of those folks that can pretty consistently get perfect catches and likes fishing enough to do it all day, so challenge bait is the easiest money i have ever made in stardew. i'm so so grateful for all the changes in the past couple updates that made it even more interesting and worthwhile.

Not only that but you gotta buy more pumpkins while cranberry’s continue to grow more without the need for more seeds. At least from last I remembered. I haven’t played the game in a hot minute lol. I mean you could just like bulk buy pumpkin seeds too but if I remember correctly don’t Cramberries grow faster and give more crops to sell. I like the pumpkins tho, they’re fun to grow.

I do wonder what is more profitable in practice for the legend II, targeted bait or deluxe bait. If you can consistenly catch every legend II you hook, targeted bait is better. However, if your fishing skill is good but not amazing, I think there is a point at which deluxe bait (with master enchantment) becomes better for money. My gut feeling is that legend II with deluxe bait is more profitable than son of crimsonfish with targeted bait, but this claim still needs some math.
