I went there. I want all the colours of trousers. also maybe in addition to hemming the trousers to the correct length, maybe it would be possible to slim down the width of the trousers as well.

Are their suits actually well made? I want to buy their tweed suits but seeing that they use fusing has put me off them completely.
Yes, they actually are.I used to go into the store all the time before lockdown. I tried a variety of their items and can say the quality is really good, and the cut is perfect. I brought one of their blazers back in 2019 and it still looks new, no signs of ageing. It is worth the money (at least in my option).
I'm a regular buyer, they aren't cheap, but I can't find much in the weight class of the quality here. This is the most expensive clothing I've ever bought, but also the toughest. I really do think some of it could probably be cheaper, but I've never had a regret with a purchase from them. Shame their advertising doesn't seem to be the best.
Many years ago (at least a decade if not more) I bought two pairs of corduroy trousers. Sadly I have grown out of them but my son can still get in them. They really have lasted well. I finally cracked recently and bought another pair - yellow. They look as if they should last for years again. This isn't fast or cheap fashion but they really do last for ever. Can't speak specifically of suits but I'd be surprised if they're not similarly good value.
@@keithdavis773 yeah the trousers look good, may go for them. I personally really like the Ralph Lauren whitmans for trousers, but they're just so expensive for what they're truly worth.

Why would anybody wear a dress coat while shooting? (All of the coats shown in the video are dress coats.) A proper hunting coat would work much, much better.

I bought a navy linen suit, cut by Cordings, second-hand in Oxfam, Highgate, in 1996. It cost me £40 (quite a lot for a charity shop suit back then) but lasted me about five years until the trousers split, rather dramatically, when I was at a conference. I then wore the jacket with khaki trousers for a further three years.
It would be rude to say this is from a bygone era. Where every Briton had a good quality tailored suit, that was of such quality that it could be passed down from generation to generation! I recall back in 1982 when I inherited my father's Harris Tweed jacket and shirts thank goodness I was not obese back then. Interestingly now have reached 60+ I am waking upto the fact that I have almost a burning desire for Tweed, a hard wearing material that truly stands the test of time. I am grateful that bespoke tailors such as Cordings as still exist!
