Fortune. Was an amazing label because of the RANGE of music they often brilliantly recorded (of course) Doo Wop/R&B, Various forms of Blues,, C&W! Hillbilly!!, Rockabilly!!! An amazing range. And all with that unique Fortune SOUND. It was often somewhat Off Mike with a not too subtle sound of a dark and dank....but wonderful....dive bar or some kind abandoned underground space that you were being given access to by buying the record.

Come through Livonia! I grew up in Detroit right on the border with Redford Twp so although I'm not from Livonia my life has been hanging out and shopping in Livonia. Plus going to the Livonia library to check out books for school that Detroit or Redford libraries didn't have! Great job guys!
