Is bio grow and alga mic a good alternative if you don’t have fish mix ?

I use grow, bloom; max throughout but taper of the grow when flowering..the bloom does have a small amount of "N". I haven't had any problems as of yet!

It's cuz uva is good and uvb is bad and uva should be used for 5-15 min per hr.

Mine takes a while to find pH. It will start by jumping 0.4 at a time, taper off to say 6.0 and then slowly climb to 7.5 or whatever. Even after a calibration. Any idea what’s going on?

Hi, a bit of a random one, is that white cloth on the filter replaceable. Im actually considering one 0f these setups for a make shift spray booth.

Start R is real realy good to trigger fast root growth....one of the best ive seen. Ive seen pleanty slow growing plants were the roots and growth is really slow, adding start R always kick starts great root growth and in turn gives the plant better growth. A great tool to have in the arsenal.

Is it ok if i use all bio bizz products on 1 litre as an example 4 ml top max 4ml bio heaven 4 ml bio bloom and 1 ml bio grow even if this adds to about 13 ml of fertilizers per litre of water? Or should i go with 2 litres of water

These things suck. 2 of them, and less than a year, both are acting erratically, won't register ph... one just keeps giving me the "UR" message, and one of the EC meters spits out random values very rapidly. I've replaced the probe to rule that out, and nothing changes. Replaced batteries, cleaned the connections, and still nothing. And funny enough... even when they did work, i would get 2 different ph values fun the same probe, swapped and recalibrated between them. These units are far too expensive for what they are. And now, after 3 years, my guardian no longer works at all. Never again will i shell out the money for bluelab gear.... they just aren't what they used to be. I'll go with cheap Chinese stuff and just toss and replace every 6 months.

You don't need 10 different bottles for one plant, that's just a cashgrab. 1 all in one and a pk booster gives the same results.

I WANT to like Bluelab desperately, because I like quality tools... But in practice, my pragmatism always kept me away... Truncheon: Great idea, would be so useful to mix the nutrient solution alone... BUT: a) expensive (that's fine, I COULD live with that...) b) Not terribly accurate... I know about the intermittent blinking that brings it to 0.1 ec accuracy... But even the cheapest China ones have 0.05ec and better. Now, in terms of total accuracy, even with 0.1 the Bluelabs COULD still win... But having those 20 points per 1 ec makes it MUCH easier to make solutions with the chinese beater... 0.1ec is not accurate enough for that...

I ran out of canna boost for last two weeks of flowering, but i have a whole bottle of bio bizz top max (in fact i have the entire range of bio bizz products unused), my question is, can i temp use ANY of my bio bizz products togther with any of my canna nutes (in coco coir) just to get me out of a pickle. (somebody suggested to me that i could use top max until flushtime)

I have a 79 litre Rhizopot and find it dries out quickly. Thus far I have harvested one tomato which was great. I have two tomatoes left, a automatic one and a photo. The original plan was to grow two early tomatoes and a full season tomato using two boxes of Ecothrive living soil. I have only used water treated with Neutralise PH of my tapwater is 8.5 so I did try using bio bizz pH down a couple of times but stopped because the tomato plants were so healthy and vigorous. Should I add anything to the soil considering I've allowed it to dry out?. Going to use saran wrap around the Rhizopot to keep soil moist and buy some clover I'm about to re order from growell. Can you give me a list of amendments like bio sys,etc I also need to use a canna zym type product Excellent soil so far.

Over complicating it

Small note,... These "plug N grow" 13A timers, which can handle up to a 600w load are handy gadgets. Only using 1 plug outlet rather than 2 as with a contacter, is a great help, but when using adjustable ballasts,.. 250, 400, 600w and "overdrive", which allows you to run your 600 W bulb at around 660, keep in mind your plug N grow handles and inductive load of only 600w,! I consider myself a seasoned tomato grower, learned a lot since mid to late 90,s,..pre internet daze, and I made this rookie mistake, overdrive through my 13A plug N grow. Never caused any severe damage luckily enough, although I only use that timer for my 38w propagation strip light,!!! Doesn't run too well at higher loads now, went back to my good ol' 2K contacter/timer, as well as running my lamp at 660 etc it also allows me to run a few small fans that only come on and off as my lamp does, aids in cooling my canopy.
