Truly awesome sounding. Hey i got a question. How much gain can it handle? i use tons, and stack however i don't chainsaw, however it is comparable in a way that gain is incredible. I am liking the way these are holding up when i heard your distorted sound, and have been looking at Pariahs more gainy pickups. However i think well could this pickup possibly take on the role? I can think to like the little bit of losing it kind of sound it may get with my kind of gain. i'll give you a run down of my rig if this isn't too too long. WGS reaper HP50 top speaker. Jensen Nighthawk 75 speaker. Custom guitar Canary board, Goncalo neck. Swamp ash body. Stainless frets. titanium rose R5 nut. Kahler trem. Amp is Ampeg VH140C with VH140C and EQ pedal boosting with EQ in the loop making it non-boxy as the stock amp. Tuning is G standard.

I ve got now one too. Also i have a MH-1007. The MH is a metal axe, the Viper seems more a rock guitar, although both have EMGs.

Sounds great. Are those the JB/Jazz set? Is it easy to sit with? I got my first Jackson V...a Scott Ian King V (X series made in Indonesia) and was surprised how light and comfortable it is. Really well balanced when standing, but also when wedged between knees it keeps the guitar in a nice playing position. Now I want a Rhoads. I'm really digging the Pro Series RR3 in the Concorde finish with gold hardware and Floyd and double Duncan Distortions. Would be nice to have an RR1 USA, but is it really worth the extra $3K+? What's your rig you're playing through?

I'm glad they still occasionally play these old great gems that got me into Mcauley Schenker Group to begin with. This and Gimme Your Love was when i discovered Michael Schenker's guitar genius and Robin Mcauley's vocal talent together. They certainly need to make more lps together. It was my favorite Michael Schenker era.

To add to that, an piano tuner who had worked pianos all his life, told me that the proper way to destring a piano without having an explosion is to take one section do a quarter turn with each peg skip over the next section and continue quarter turn on each peg... and so on until you have completely loosened the strings and that is how you will have no mishaps. So using a power drill to begin with would also be unsafe as well, until you e completely loosened the strings

I had one I purchased in about 87. Sadly, I dont even remember where it went. Loved that thing!!

I purchased mine in 1982 and still have occasion to use it. Happily, I've been able to duplicate the sounds fairly closely on my Katana app but for years I would plug it straight into my supro tube amp.
