We could not be happier then to be sharing our lives with Kangaroos and wallabies. Such beautiful animals that add a dimension to our lives that is difficult to put into words. And to further this joy, we have the privilege and the honor of sharing them with others at our Petting Zoo.

Kangaroos sure get fussy with each other. When one runs out of food it is then time to turn on your neighbor and smack them around until you get their food. It's so funny though often I'm in the crossfires (right now in fact. Ouch!!)

Patrick the big boy is the mob boss of seven other Kangaroos and Wallabys. I have never once seen him be aggressive to the boys. However sometimes Mitchell the white wallaby becomes onery with me and Patrick will smack him and then his arms around me. I am one of us girls.

@@kwood8766What’s so funny?? Ok, in doing some research I agree it’s not blood BUT neither is the gland itself red! The male Red Kangaroo, especially dominant ones, have a gland on their chest that secretes a red, powdery strong-smelling substance. The primary purpose of this secretion is related to marking territory and signaling dominance to other kangaroos. The red coloration and strong odor help convey the kangaroo's status and deter rivals. The substance is most noticeable when the kangaroo sweats or gets wet and this mixes with the secretion. The woman vigorously scratching and rubbing where the gland is located is either stimulating the gland to produce or release the substance in the gland …that she then rubs and spreads around the neck and head. After learning this, the act this woman is doing seems even more disturbing than when I thought she was making it bleed!!! It’s invasive and lacks respect for the animal!
Gorgeous Insects, OK they maybe Cockroaches but not the filthy stinking disease carrying ones, these are far more friendly and they make terrific pets to keep, even though I don't have any myself I hear only hood things about these cool dudes. Thank You for the upload. Robert Bridgend Wales UK

They are adorable in so many ways. I know they are considered exotic pets. They can live a long time if cared for well, like 15-18 years. :) Long live Alvin. Do you mind sharing how much you paid for it?
