The Fungus by Harry Adam Knight (Josh Brosnan), published in 1985, is basically the origin of post-apocalyptic fungus horror. There are earlier works out in the world but this book had the most impact (and is a damn good read as well). Looking at the comments I can't help but wonder why so many see The Last of Us as the first fungus-based post-apocalyptic story ever made. If anything it borrowed nearly everything from previous works, leaving only the interpersonal and social commentary left.

Okay I'm just going to come home and say this looks like the stupidest movie that Hollywood could ever make

This is by far one of the worst movies I've ever seen and I have seen A LOT. Really, really bad script, really poor acting. Watched this because of Rudy Pankow and was so badly disappointed 😥. I hope he couldn't shine because of the script because his acting was absolute garbage (sorry, but what has gotten into him???). I wonder if it was even the same actor playing JJ Maybank in Outer Banks? I cannot even enjoy watching him in Outer Banks anymore after having experienced him in this really horrible production 😭.

This poor kid was doomed from the start, when your the son of a multimillionaire famous father there is tremendous pressure on you from the start even with a supporting family, but when your own Dad and Mom turn their back on you that’s unimaginable!! The poor guy
