Star Trek Force Field Science Fiction To NASA Reality #forcefield
Star Trek loves depicting force fields in action. Science Fiction conceptualized the powerful, though still mostly fictional tech, for years. Keeping a prisoner secure in a brig, protecting oneself with a personal shield or surrounding a Starship with an energy field to repel phasers or other attacks, make force fields a potent tech device in sci-fi tales. Today, NASA is working on making it all a workable and even practical reality.

Yes, true in the classic 39 episodes, but as a sketch, on Jackie Gleason show, Honeymooners ran for many other seasons.
I've never cared for any of the drama between movie stars, and I could not care less, but... you forgot to mention that they also worked together on an episode or two of The Big Bang Theory

I think the biggest problem is they killed her off after having her be an incredibly established and important character. They then give Ezri a season to build a connection and that's a big ask for a character and actor. I think whe did well but needed more time to develop her character but she did great with building the foundation of who "Ezri Dax" is.
