It’s out of square. That’s causing the binding. It was installed incorrectly.

Make sure the measurements are the same as the way down!! Both ends and the center!!

Mine binds up as well. Also has a sag in it toward the back!!?

As I recall, the only cowhide on the SE trim is the the steering wheel and shift knob. Like others stated, the SEL Premium trim has the true leather seats.

Make sure it’s not pinched together because the same thing happened to me and make sure the bearings are greased up with WD-40 or whatever you want to use

I have a electric retrax and after i installed it i can hear it rattle with my back glass window open. Ant ideas on how to stop it from rattling?

It was your installation that was the problem, if he didn’t wanna drill the holes through the bed that means he probably didn’t do that good of a job, installing the rails typically that type of problem that occurs is because one rail is off they’re not exactly perpendicular

Seriously? ........Maybe you could have turned the bed light on before you started filming? Maybe? A little prep goes a long way. Did you take the truck back to the installer to have them adjust before you parked your truck, took out your phone, filmed a video, and posted it to YT?

Measure how far the tracks are apart at the bulkhead and then at the tailgate and match the two measurements and lube it up then it should slide easier

Its the installer, no the cover. If the rails aren't parallel and square, or if they bow, it gets stuck. Mine glides open all the way with one little push. Love this cover.

I had the same problem pulled the box out. I lubed the track and in side where the cover coils up and it seems smooth. I use a silicone spray.
