Is epoxisculpt essentially the same as milliput?

Useful. But I don’t agree that Milliput is inferior - it just depends what you want to use it for. If you are assuming space marines, maybe. But for many more organic applications, Milliput is superior. Also it responds well using water to smooth or separate, instead of messing with oil.

LOL! Your paper method reminds me of my citadel plastic glue "Ruby Tuesdays extra mayonaise method!" A while ago I ate at ruby tues, to my surprise they brought my condiments in little metal condiment serving cups. I thought to myself that citadel plastic glue would come out nice on the bottom of one if I brought it home. Sure enough it does. I turn them upside down, drop a dollop of glue on the bottom and use the pin that comes with the bottle to apply my glue. LOL! and since the cups a stainless steel, the excess plastic glue dries and is easily scrapped away for next time. Unfortunately I tried doing this with superglue and one. The superglue stuck and permanentely ruined one but luckily I got two.

Ive learned a lot from your technical explanations, like anchor point, points of origin, a few more tricks you've employed I that I wouldnt have learned from other videos. You should really keep em coming if time and life permits! Your teaching style is quite helpful and above the par of most tutorials I've seen. Youre not just "showing" us how, you are teaching us how. And for that I thank you!

A shame you couldnt showcase this after the paintjob. Still VERY impressive work however. You are pretty damn good with that greenstuff my man.

You can also use the metal part of al old brush for these leave shapes. Just remove the brush hairs and shape it however you want it to. Additionally, you can easily make a stamp out of various materials (might be as easy to use green stuff for that, too) to quickly texture the leaves, saving you a ton of time ^^

Worth stating that epoxy is temperature sensative, So if you are working in a cold garage curing time will be longer and if you sit next to a space heater it will cure faster.

Great work ! The scale between First born and Primaris is not a problem ? The pauldrons and the swords do not seem "child toys" ? That is my fear . I want to do this exact project , but I think adding an edge to the pauldrons and using primaris weapons + greenstuff décorations will be my way Anyway, great work and thanks for the tips

I love KWYI's, I have almost pure esstac stuff lol. I use their inserts in anythign that's not from them.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but do you know what one should do to do this with milliput? That's currently what i have, but it feels really difficult to sculpt anything into without either completely oversculpting or ripping it. Is there some sort of targeted cure time where milliput gets a similar consistency to the green stuff here? Thanks in advance.

Looks great! Luckily I do have every part you listed in my unused model inventory lol. Have to disagree with you saying the old sculpt is terrible though. It's of its time and is still pretty dynamic to my eyes. To each their own

CA joke aside it is a skin irritant and with prolonged use without glove can cause you to develop a harsh reaction with contact. Also that's sensitive skin or not just depends on the person but that alone means folks should wear gloves when working with milliput. Not enough Hobby nerds mention this so this comment is mainly for folks reading through.
