Needham Market Station (04/09/24)
A fun return visit at the start of September with a nice mixture of freight and passenger action. As a result of fewer Class 745 FLIRT units being available for service an additional 11 coach Class 755 FLIRT formation was out working Intercity duties. I hope you enjoy watching this video.

A fabulous return visit to Manningtree to see the Torbay Riviera Pullman Railtour pass through. Another bonus alongside the usual FLIRT and Aventra units was the appearance of two Freightliner Class 90 locos hauling an early morning Intermodal to Felixstowe as far as Ipswich. I hope you enjoy watching this video.

A superb return visit to Ely on a warm summers day. It was awsome to not only see some intermodal trains but also a couple of the legacy trains that once operated on East Anglia's regional routes. I hope you enjoy watching this video.

A superb return visit to Trimley to see some intermodal trains on the Felixstowe Branch Line. Two of them had a pair of Class 66 locomotives on the front which was awesome to see. I hope you enjoy watching this video.

A fun return visit to see what was about on a weekday morning. An unexpected empty stock move worked by FLIRT unit 755 325. It was nice to see the usual regular intermodal services running again after the recent disruption at Felixstowe North Terminal caused by an unfortunate derailment. I hope you enjoyed watching this video.

Whilst on the way back from Peterborough I had the chance to spot some trains at Ipswich during a return visit. It was nice to once again see the trio of Class 755 FLIRT units working the Class 755 Intercity diagram between Norwich and London Liverpool St. I hope you enjoyed watching this video.

Having passed through here a few times whilst changing trains it was good to get the chance to spot trains at Peterborough Station. Highlights include two of Hull Trains Paragon units working together and seeing one of LNER's remaining Intercity 225 sets in action. A fun return visit to see what was about on a weekday morning. The main highlights were seeing two of the former Direct Rail Services blue Class 66 locos now working for GB Railfreight hauling intermodal trains. After the timetable change Greater Anglia still run three Class 755 FLIRT units in multiple on one of the Intercity diagrams. I hope you enjoyed watching this video.

A superb return visit to Manningtree despite the constant rainfall. The main purpose of the day was to see a steam hauled railtour pass through. This Steam Dreams operated railtour was en route from Windsor & Eton Riverside to Norwich. It was however delayed for a while in the London area caused by plastic sheeting getting caught on the overhead power lines at Forest Gate. Whilst waiting for it...

An awesome return visit to Needham Market for the purpose of seeing a charter train pass through. This train, operated by Steam Dreams and Locomotive Services, was en route from Colchester to the preserved steam era steam locomotive roundhouse shed at Barrow Hill. A superb return visit to Stowmarket on the first day of May. It was great to see a decent amount of freight including the Gas Condensate Tanks alongside the usual FLIRT units. Hope you enjoyed watching this video.

@@Desiro360 That's nice that you had great weather 👍 Seems like they could do with another 745 or 2 as always have trios of 755s. Although I'm not gonna complain because it definitely makes it interesting for us Trainspotters and enthusiasts.
@TrainsAtTrimley-eastSuffolk true. They should have ordered up to 15 745's so that they could work all London - Norwich diagrams.

Great video mate. I was not expecting you caught two trios of 755s going each direction one to Liverpool Street and the other one to Norwich but at least you captured the almighty beast of 66767 👍👍. Thanks for sharing

Some Great Footage you got at Manningtree. Nice catch on the Midland Pullman, was Planning on going to Ipswich to see it, as really wanted to get a shot of it. Unfortunately i didn't get round to it, I Cant do when it comes back in October as im a College that day. Hopefully will return for 2025. Great Action overall 👍

Nice one 👍 Ely seems a nice and busy location. Nice mix of operators. Nice catch on the Tamper. Was great to see the class 170 in ex Greater Anglia / TFW livery. Sad we no longer have them. Remember them when they were ex national express blue. That seems a very long time ago now. Hope you enjoyed your vist to Ely 👍

@@Desiro360 Yep that's correct 👍 Remember when I first saw one in service at Trimley. was so amazed by it, was so happy to see the older class 153 go. Kinda miss it now, shame never got footage of the 153,156. Did take some footage of the 170s, although don't think I have the footage anymore as on a old phone. 👍
@TrainsAtTrimley-eastSuffolk OK fair enough. Yes I do miss the older rolling stock but cannot deny how much better the 755's are inside.

Nice one 👍 didn't realise that was you, i liked your bag by the way. Ah see you caught the freight action i missed earlier that morning. I was planning to get there for half 9 but that didn't work 😂 I caught the pink 66 leaving the port. Also saw GBRf Made in Sheffield pass when approaching the crossing. All 3 of us Trainspotting almost got bolwed by that 755. If you stayed a little longer you wouldve got some tones on camera. Great footage. Nice to see you. Just uploaded my footage 👍
The Felixstowe branch never disappoints when it comes to intermodal trains. Lucky you got to see 2 double header trains. Hope you enjoyed the nice weather 👍😀👍 Awesome stuff 👍

Nice one 👍 I too caught Cemex express yesterday. I am currently still editing the video from yesterday as its over 20 minutes of footage. I caught 19 different freight services yesterday with over 20+ different class 66s. Its gonna be a big video. Look forward to your next video, hopefully it stays dry for the rest if the week. 👍

Great vid.I believe there is a rail tour with class57's going through tomorrow morning.I'm guessing gypsy Lane crossing is still open cause you can hear the train sounding its horn as it goes round the bend.
