My washing machine filter got stuck like you showed. The machine doesn't show any error code, but stop the wash after water is put in. Do you think fixing the filter can make it wash again? Or I just need to throw it to the dump yard?

Thank you, thanks to the video I quickly found the problem. I was lucky, my model bosh series 6 has a plastic cover underneath 4 screws and I had full access to the pump, it took me 15 minutes instead of several hours 😅

Wow... thank you , you saved me a mechanic. After lossing a Key, we fond it back in the filter, stuck in the hose. But thanks to your video i was abble to get it out.

Thanks for the great video! Heating the springs under hot water makes them expand and easier to fit. And if the model has a spring going all the way round for the inner spring, use string tied to the borders of the machine to hold the top and right hand side in place, and the handle of a wooden spoon to keep the left hand side of the spring in its channel so it doesn't jump out.

How about putting the whole machine on to it's side to move the object then opening drain cover?

Great, clear instructions. Looked for ages befor stumbling on this Helped enormously My code was E04, but since stripping, found water from the leaking sump seal had burned out the heater. The ony downside is my other half is dissapointed she is now not getting a new dishwasher after I fixed the existing one 😁

That is way too much work! I just drilled and broke out the filter plug, pulled the crap out and replaced the plug which was £10
