@13:53 just after the slowdown, the solo is in fact Justin on his bass - Adam sticks with the finger picking on his guitar if you listen closely.

Billy Strings is the best flat picker of this generation. He learned bluegrass at a very early age then transitioned to heavy metal then back to bluegrass. It really shows in the live performance of Turmoil and Tinfoil at Music City Roots. He does have some videos of him playing electric and can shred!!!

Keith was crazy good with the keys... One concert I saw he had his arms stretched out to both sides...one playing the synth, one playing the piano as I recall and his heel hitting the keys of his Hammond organ... and it was perfection. The man was a maniacal Master of the Keys. His piano skills were nothing less than magnificent. RIP Keith.

E.L.P. is an amazing band. Extremely talented individuals. A 3 man orchestra capable of playing anything. They play all this live with no problem . Superstars of Prog.

They were home sick they had just toured America and than went to Switzerland to make the album Machine Head and all they really wanted to do was go home and see family, friends and get home. They did it to themselves...they wanted to record in a more tax friendly place I guess Great Britain was taxing their work quite heavily. One of them said Smoke on the Water makes him a million dollars a year it was his retirement although I don't think anyone in that band ever retired except for Jon Lord may he rest in peace.
