I have the smallrig grip and thumb grip. I do like the grip but the jury is still out on the thump grip. Due to the rubber piece being small there is a degree of flex and I find the lower edge sharp. The grip is great I cannot fault it. Regards the size of the camera being close to one with changeable lenses, there are times when you don’t want to change lenses. I’m shortly going to an area that’s dusty, the last thing I want to do is change lenses. I don’t want to damage my XH-2 system by the ingress of sand. Thus I have a X100iv. It has its place.

Too close to interchangeable lens camera… you nailed it, as usual. I bought the X100V back in 2020 and I never considered it pocketable. X70, XQs, GRIII are pocketable, but this is not. JJC should include their brand in the inner side of the thumb grip (I opted for other brand because of this).

Nice video. I have the SmallRig grip and Thumbrest for my own X100VI and like them.

So far, every review on the DC-X3 I've seen, I've noticed some delay on the monitor with an HDMI connection. Have yet to see a review test it with an SDI connection. Until then, I'm not sold on it.

I become addicted to watching the photos and videos in this clip! They are so beautifully coloured on the whole in every picture, and the clarity is at least ok, though when looking into tiny details on the face of people it reveals some soft parts. The videos are also great, the lady in the mill looks very vivid! This is originally a small and dull town but Damian showed it so fabulous in photos and videos!!! The amount of excellent photos and videos also exceeded my expectation! Some photos seem to have chromatic aberration (the man with cap) if I am right, but it looks intentionally added artistic feature, haha. Some other CZcamsrs praised a lens with same aperture, the Sigma 30mm 1.4, but the photos and videos they put up are just terrible and unconvincing.

Is the footage and audio seperate files or is it linked to the camera so the audio quality is enhanced for the footage?

I just love that these Chinese Lens manufacturers are selling us affordable(still expensive) lenses to enjoy photography more. They don't make perfect ones but it's more than just a good lens.

I do love that anamorphic lens, and you demonstrated it well - made Villa Park almost attractive 😉 Not sure if you’ve tried it, but does object tracking work with the macro? I know it must be incredibly difficult given any small movement is massive in macro, just interested to know.

I'll presume that since Sony is known for the best auto focus, that one of these on Fuji may not behave quite the same. Then there's the settings people have for autofocus..some like a slower shift for video, which my Fuji bodies offer..But, now I see this is only for Sony..so forget everything.. always good to see Damian, otherwise..

I have a question. As a beginner i dont understand how this would be a better alternative to using a smartphone like s24 ultra which has 200mp. Is it becausee it has more settings ans better lense than a phone?

Did you try to output 4k to the monitor? I record in 4K 30FPS and if this monitor will not support this signal output then it won't work for me.

aquí en Perú, lo tengo hasta el día de hoy 2024, los colores negros son muy decentes, el sistema operativo es sencillo e intuitivo, con el tiempo aparecieron manchas como de suciedad y líneas negras, solo vino el técnico, cambió algunas tiras led y limpio el panel, quedó como nuevo, para ver deportes está genial y también juego videojuegos, prefiero jugar ahí que en un monitor ips porque los negros se ven mejor en esta tv de samsung

I bought mine in 2016 with an X-T10. I have loved it ever since. I use it more than my 16-55 or 16-80. I love it for street, because of it size and flexibility.

Love it. I've been toying with the idea of upgrading my camera. But my initial thoughts were that it limits your choice to those cameras still using the 26MP sensor, and would be counter productive on a larger sensor. Don't know.

Many people told me to get it in my kit, others told me the 16-55 f/2.8 R WR but finally I got a 16-80 f/4 R WR OIS and really happy, sharp lens and very versatile, I think it is a better option to a 18-55 and to a 16-50 or even the 16-55.
