Great video, I’ve got the same boat. Could you tell me the length/width of your bottom floor? I have a very slim gap under my benches so it seems like it will be difficult to squeeze a 3/8 sheet under there.

From NC (drum are the state fish) not sure about the freshwater version but saltwater drum are delicious soaked in milk over night, cut into nuggets, breaded and fried. Drum nuggets. Maybe worth trying on these yankee fish idk.

It's been a while since I've caught a river monster, but one thing that's always surprised me in a river is catching BIG perch! And man do those fish fight when they're in current!

I see crappie feeding on minnows on the surface all the time, so it makes sense it would hit a topwater.

I've actually caught quite a few crappies on a Skitter Pop. Usually they're pretty big.

I once caught a 13” white crappie on a 3/4 oz double willow blade spinner bait fishing for pike.

I have the 400 version of reel with Suffix 60lb line on a St. Croix Legend Tournament medium heavy power fast action muskie rod. I am the same way using left hand reeling bait casting as I do spin cast reels. I can do either but prefer using left hand for both. Good job on video and info. Happy fishing.

Exactly why I don't go to delavan dumb wake boarders buzzing your boat when no one is in middle of the lake and they can do it there without bothering anyone.

Wake boats are a killer that’s why I go out at night for walleye on that lake. You should give that a shot. I limit out in 25 minutes with a night crawler and a dropshot.
