This song and album wasn't to promote Deadpool and Wolverine movie. Ryan just wanted to do the mv as a friend to stray kids who have been friends since 2021 when stray kids did a live performance on the kingdom legendary war show with a Deadpool theme. The song they performed was a mash up of Blackpink song du du du with God's Menu

I feel the same way about some Straykids songs, it's not that they are bad it can just sometimes be jarring. I do find that the more I listen the more I enjoy them though. There have been many songs where I wasn't sure what to think, but the more I listened the more I enjoyed them. It also helps watching their Intro videos where they talk about making each song and knowing the struggles I get more of an appreciation. I enjoy your reactions because you are honest especially knowing how toxic some stays can get. Remember not to let their toxicity prevent you from voicing your opinions and enjoying yourself. In 2 Rings, the rings are wheels. The song uses motorcycles as a metaphor. Fireflies are a symbol of love, and also a symbol of the spirits of those who have departed. Depending on your interpretation of the song, it could be either one of those things. Like you, Fireflies is far and away my favorite song on this mini album. It stuck out to me immediately when I heard it in the medley preview. It's one of my favorite Dreamcatcher songs, and easily cracked my Top 10 favorite songs by them. It hits the same spots that Red Velvet's "Night Drive" did for me. I had watched Studio Ghibli's Only Yesterday just before Cosmic released, and I watched Grave of the Fireflies a few days before VirtuouS released. Night Drive reminded me of the former, while Grave of the Fireflies was fresh on my mind when I heard Fireflies.
