Congrats on your lovely finishes! Especially the autumn one! If I can't get a project finished, I put one thread in a day and work on other projects. I just finished a project from 2022 that way!

As the fabric count goes up, then the stitched size comes down. Unless you change from over 1 to over 2. Lovely to see you and your Bothy Thread kits 🙂
Aw thank you! 🩷. Does that mean if I stitch on 18count the project will be bigger than it would be if I stitched on 14? Xx
@@stephanieoverfield2723 No, the other way around. 18 count will be smaller than 14 count. If you have a project which is 140 stitches, then on 14 count, it would be 10 inches (140/14). On 18 count it would be just under 8 inches (140/18). It takes a bit to get your head around!

Put a little washi tape on the edges of you profrated paper to help with the thread snagging on it.

@@stephanieoverfield2723 air conditioning (although that’s a relatively new addition.) But, when it’s really hot out we have to set it kinda high, like 76f lol. But here it’s a “dry heat” when it’s crazy hot the humidity can drop into the single digits. Colorado has some crazy weather.

Hi Hun. Lovely to catch up with U and yr wips. If you stitch on 28 count 2 over 2. It will be the same size as 14 count. If you stitch 1 over 1 on 28 count it will be smaller. I've never stitched on that plastic. Think I'd like to try it. Take care. Xx😊
Ag thank you I’ve never understood the difference size fabrics and stuff 🫣🤯. It confuses me. Plastic Aida is good for 3D projects and badges but It really hurts my hands especially as I’m using 3 strands xxx

I saw you had started the Summer one from Cricket Collection so I kitted mine up and started it yesterday!! So many called for colours - I’m only pulling out what I need for the single letter at a time!! I’ve got the other seasons to stitch too!!

Hello Stephanie, Love your flosstube because I am a kit stitcher myself. Also like to stitch animals. Use your Anchor floss, it is as good as DMC. I even stitch with woll-acrylic floss because Rolis kits use that alot, but then it is nicely sorted on flosscards. I find that it gives a nice effect on those kits.

I stitch some dimensions, Riolis, Anchor , Merejka and some Russian ones ..also like sodastitch patterns

Lovely video! Nice to see Pippi and friends in cross stitch. ❤Just thought I'd warn you about that Heritage Stitchcraft Morris Minor. It's got some weird stitches in it, like squahed stitches, and it would be really tricky and not fun to do it on aida fabric. I speak from experience 😅
