Thank you for the update!!! I have yet to first consult with Dr F is on Aug 16. I am nervous for sure. If you have advice for me I’ll take it 💜🦋💜
I was just diagnosed with this yesterday after years of pain! I can’t believe I stumbled across this video!
Hi! Wondering if you would be willing to share whether you went to a specialist in Tarlov cysts or a regular neurosurgeon. Just diagnosed and trying to navigate! Ty!
Thank you for sharing 😊
I am so sorry that you went through all of that and that you had to give up your title that. had to have been an excruciating decision
God bless you for sharing this video. I’m in the same process and you’ve given me hope. I’m in the process of getting on touch with Dr Feiganbaum.
yea i dont like those fish tails. Thats the straight bottom of curl. I guess you could of make it curl.
The crimper of the 80s had straight edges - like a zig zag pattern
So, my LeDuo arrived and I’ve tried it twice. You make it look so easy, but I felt like I was all thumbs trying to achieve this look - and the waves didn’t last 😢. I wonder what I’m doing wrong?
That looks super cute! I just ordered one of the LeDuo. Hope I can achieve the same look. Thank you for this tutorial 😊
OMGOSH, SOUNDS JUST LIKE ME,I cant get ANYONE to hear me on my Tarlov Cysts... HOW do you get Drs to HEAR YOU? I'M almost incapacitated with it, yet its not being looked at seriously, HELP. Im in Pa, I cant take much more, the pain is constant now, HELP? PLEASE?
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear you are going through this. Finding thr right doctor to help you can be so tough. The Tarlov Cyst Disease Foundation does recommend a couple who have devoted their practice to treating these, but I believe there is a guy by the name of Dr. Welch there in PA that does have experience with TCs. I've never worked with him, but there are others in the Tarlov Cysters and Mysters Facebook group who have. Might be worth researching. ❤️
@meetthemaskeys4139 Thank you, found one in neighboring state thats part of the foundation...2 hrs away, mine is severe, but HOW DO I GET A DR TO HEAR ME THAT ITS THE CYSTS AND NOT JUST ARTHRITIS?
That is the million dollar question, unfortunately!
@meetthemaskeys4139 mine started like urs,but its SO severe i can barely walk
I was quickly headed there too which I why I made the decision to go straight to the expert and had surgery with Dr. Feigenbaum in Texas. 2 years post-op now and back to my normal life! I'm so very grateful I stopped messing with other docs and went to the expert who does listen and understand!
Omg, it's you, thank you so, so much for the Tarlov Cyst Warrior Sticker! When I saw your shirt I recognized the adorable zebra! Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us!
I am a Reiki Master and when I get Sciatica flare ups Reiki and lying flat is the only thing that calms it down. I'm so glad it's helping you as well. And thank you so much for sharing, you're helping me increase my compassion for myself, and I really appreciate that.
Reiki was so helpful for me. My girl had to close her practice due to a location issue and hasn't opened back up again yet, so I really need to find someone new, it's been too long!
Touché on the beach spray.. ordering some of that today and I just got ur iron today.. Good video especially since you are a real person!!
This was SUPER helpful. I was wanting to see a head to head compare of the two brushes on someone with hair like mine. Thank you for doing this - it helped me feel confident about choosing my new l'ange brush!
hola desde la Republica Dominicana 😘 fui diagnosticada con quiste de tarlov y me gustaria saber cuanto costo su cirugia
Thank you so much, I thought I was loosing my mind you have helped me so much❤
I talked to Dr. Frank Friday 24. I am having the surgery I am just waiting for insurance
It looks beautiful! My hair is exactly like yours. So I will definitely try this. Thank you ❤
Congratulations on the pageants. And how wonderful that you were able to get surgery with Dr F. I am working with him as well hoping to be on the other side of this nerve damaging disease Thank you fellow Michigander!!!😊
Wish they would come out with air wrap attachments
Agreed!
Thank you so much for sharing your journey with TCD, God Bless.
I got this and it sucks
Aww bummer! I think it depends on your hair too - every tool isn't going to work perfectly for everyone. There's plenty that I can't use on my thin, fine hair.
Thanks! Grettings since México!
You gave me hope! Years with ciática and now I have the diagnostic.
You gave me hope! There is a cure for this ilness. Grettings since México!
My partner has a similar story of similar symptoms getting worse in flare ups. Nothing helps ... pain meds aren't doing anything. A hot bath helps a tiny amount. Her MRI shows the cysts in similar places and sizes. She's at the point now of debilitating pain and she keeps going to the ER for help. She can't pee because of the nerve issues. I'm so glad you were able to find a doctor who took you seriously. I think googling your medical issues can be a good thing because so many doctors don't take people seriously. It doesn't even make sense to me.... there's a cyst on the nerves responsible for all the issues that are present. Nothing else shows up on diagnostic images. If it's not the cysts then what is it? No answer. I'm passing videos like this to my partner and doing all the research I can about this issue. Thank you for speaking about your experience!
Tbank you this is my wife’s story exactly. Just had a debate with a Harvard orthopedic surgeon who explained, “ it couldn’t be that because … “ . My wife and i show 100% on mri the s1/s2 nerve being squished by the cyst. These people are so insensitive . We are fighting to find a doctor as it been30 months of this now.
It's so frustrating how many doctors don't want to hear us, especially when there is clearly no other explanation! I'm sorry she's going through this. You may want to consider sending her images to the TC expert in TX or CA.
Great!!!💕 Are you still following no BLT? Or you can bend comfortabley? And are you taking any medications like any pregabalin, gabapentine or any muscle relaxers?
Yes, I can bend, lift and move comfortably now so I no longer follow the BLT rules. I do always try and exercise caution though still when lifting of moving anything very heavy. I am not on any meds either, and haven't been really almost this whole time. If anything, I take an advil every once in awhile and that seems to be sufficient.
Im so so happy for you!!!! Thank you for giving your updates and hope for us!!! We need keep fighting to raise awareness to the disease....one or two doctors working with the disease for 8 bilion people is not acceptable....Its not rare, its undiagnosed!!
Which size are you using?
My hair is the same length as yours. Can you tell me which size you used? It looks like the big one to me but I want to make sure.
Are you able to sit without the tailbone cushion?
Yes, I am!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much for the hope and encouragement! Just starting out in my journey of finding the right doctors and getting a consult with Dr. Feigenbaum.. You don’t even know how much your video has uplifted me in giving me hope that I can get back to living life once again. Thank you thank you! 💞💕
I have my first consult on Aug 16 so I’m right with you
Thank you so much for your updates! Please, please do another one. We, in the Facebook Tarlov Cyst Group, really look forward to hearing about your journey. I hope you're doing even better now that it's been 7 months since your last video. ❤
Thank you for your positivity and thank you for sharing!
I have watched others and they are doing it for more than 10 seconds, and I’m wondering if you went a little longer it might set the curl a little better especially at the ends?
When I saw your medium-short hair that it would be impossible to do BUT….Voila! You did it without burning yourself! (Which is more than I can say for myself LOL) Beautiful result! 🤩
Thanks! But don't be fooled, thr fingers still do get a little crispy from time to time! 😆
I have the Revlon but it is terribly loud. What did you think about the noise level on this one? Nice video!
Which products did you use before styling?
How are you doing? I've had multiple complications since my onset almost 10 yrs ago of intense nervous pain and my diagnosis of tarlov cyts, herniations and multiple other issues with the spine and hips. Frozen shoulder, auto immune disorders and more. I'm just a mess. But I did not opt to do. Surgery. I'm now 65 and I was told I was unoperable but did not follow through with the surgeon in Texas. That you saw, I've heard good and bad results. Meaning well, some people have wonderful results and recovery. Others not so good and I felt it was too risky for me. Please update and let us know how you're doing. Hope and pray that you are doing fine. But I am concerned since you have not posted anything for many months since your surgery.
Thank you for this info!! Just for future- le is pronounced (luh) 😊
I recently met with a potential client that wants to train with me that has a Tarlov Cyst. I'v been trying to research it some, but i'v been looking for anecdotal experiences. Can I ask how the Cyst effected your movement and exercise before surgery?
This was very helpful. I already have Le Volume and I wasn't sure if the Leleve would offer something so different that I would need that too. Still hard to say but this is helpful!
Hi Katie, I've been dealing with TC's for a while and suffering quite a lot. I'm meeting with Dr. Schrot next week and I'm ready to get the surgery done and begin healing. Thank you for your video journey- it's been so helpful. In you video here you mention that are going to put the rolling bed tray in your shopping list but I don't see it. Can you tell me which one your sister purchased for you? There are quite a few and I just want a basic one. Thank you so much! You've given me hope.
Hi. Pls tell me. Is the cool setting actually cool/ cold like regular hair dryers or is it warm ish. ?
I love your makeup!
Did the nerve pain in the hip and abdomen stop immediately after surgery?
I’m so glad you’re doing so well! This gives me hope!
