In history we can find unique individual that we can’t be replicated or copy… Einstein, Whitney Houston, Jobs, Wozniak, and many others that make our wold a bit better. Many software engineers can write programs. But only fewer are capable to incorporate their imagination into a different level of creativity. Avie managed to extend his creativity to the next level. You just don’t jump up the ladder to earn the titles he had without a significant contribution to the platform. Outstanding lead compatriot.

My dad worked on the probe machines for Fairchild, those machines that tested the circuits before they cut the wafers up. When the guys that started Fairchild left to start Intel, my dad left Fairchild and started a company manufacturing probe cards and probe machines. Intel was their biggest customer, I'm guessing because my dad and his partners knew the Intel founders personally.

Scott McNealy my former CEO. 😮 We had a rock band of Sun employees come and play a concert at the Menlo Park campus. At some point in the concert the lead guitarist took off his sunglasses and wig and it was Scott. 😂 That was Scott for you, he had a great sense of humor.

Just an ordinary guy that went to the moon. Smart? Yeah… but he’ll never tell you that.
