Hello, I purchased one of your pools. It's an oval model older. Can't be for sure of the exact size. It has three side uprights, the wall is 55" high. The top rails and uprights look just like the ones I see in this video. The top rails have warped some from being exposed to the sun over the years. Is there any way I may be able to replace the top rails? And do you have list of the pool sizes? Please help if you can. Thank you.

Seems so risky removing the top stabilizer rails on a full pool. I need to so I can adjust my liner but I’m terrified that it will collapse

I've used cal hypo for years and always have to add tons of calcium hardness at the start and middle of summer. It's always confused me how it stays at 0 with tons of cal hypo shock, until I add it?

This was so much extra work that’s not necessary I guess everybody has four or five men to help you they completed the pool and then disassembled it and read it again useless

Phosphates are worth checking periodically. If really high they can cause hard to treat problems

This video was the most comprehensive and realistic I’ve found on the topic. You got great results using just liquid chlorine and chemistry. Very impressive that no separate algacide needed. It’s very unfortunate that you didn’t correct it when you misspoke and recommended “filter algae out to backwash” instead of WASTE - half the comments are dedicated to that one misstep

Installed plenty of liners. Never in. Y life have I ever seen anyone drape the liner over and fill it like that. So much faster and easier to install the liner and use a shop vac

why does my pool smell like foot locker

The bottom rail is the trickiest and most critical layout of this build. The rail snaps into the vertical footings with a spacing that IS NOT specified by the terrible instructions provided in this video. The paper instructions provided with the pool and downloaded from their site are barely legible. My advice is to measure the wall total length with a 100' tape and then the track to calculate the spacing between the bottom rails once snapped into the vertical base plates. If you do this correctly, your patio blocks will be layed out correctly and the wall will roll out to overlap at the ends. If you mess it up, you will have problems with the patio block layout and the wall will not overlap correctly and you will NOT have the ability to "adjust the bottoms rails to make it fit" as this video causally suggests. The wall for our 12' x 20' pool weighed close to 100 lbs. This is not a job for the faint of heart!!

Every video I watch says you MUST put patio block under the uprights, yet the instructions for my Cornelius brand pool doesn't say squat about them. Says to put it directly on the leveled earth. Why are they so important considering the uprights don't bear the weight of the water?

What about non chlorine aka oxidizing shock which you didn't talk about? If my cya is at the higher end of the safe zone and my CH is high enough or my chlorine level is already mid to high end spectrum. Does non chlorine shock do a anything as in side effects ?

I have a 24ft. round pool and I have a 1.5 pump. My motor went out and that is all I could get. Is this ok. I was having trouble with filtration on the kit sent with my pool which was a 19in filter with 1.0 horse pump so I didn't it mattered much. Filtration still isn't great. Any insight for me

i have a newly built pool a salt water pool but no salt added yet, the only treatment my pool recieved is a muriatic acid, a suncoast shock with a 99% of sodium dichlor, suncoast stabilizer and baking soda, is it normal to see a present of bromine reading on my test strip? they said bromine cannot be mix with salt water.

In the article that led me here it says to dump it in the skimmer, never do that, it's corrosive, it will eat pump seals then the bearings on the motor after a leak develops.

I have both types of Chlorine. Is it ok to put Sodium Diclor tabs in the float and add Calcium Hypochlorite granular dissolved with water to obtain a good chlorine level. I've had bad luck with just using S Diclor as it raises my Cya acid above it's proper range and locks the pool up. I've read that it's un safe to use them together ?

For anyone installing a pool for the first time. Rent yourself a transit and scope the pool in for level. It will be perfect. If you have a patterned liner it will highlight a unleveled pool.
