Rocky and I (Lori) along with our furkids Tahoe and Glacier are traveling the country in our Brinkley G3500, with our jeep The Pollinator, our motorcycles Pearl (Lori's Indian Scout) and Rocky's Suzi (Suzuki V-Strom) Hiking, motorcycling, jeeping, biking, kayaking and picking up trash where ever we go. We've worked hard for over 40 years and now it's time to do all the things we love While We Still Can! We hope we inspire you to get out there while YOU still can!

came across your channel. I’m seriously looking at that Brinkley toy hauler. I have a 2023 Harley Davidson tri glide trike and I’m just wondering if it would fit in it I believe my trike is within the parameters of the garage size. Love your channel subscribed thank you very much and if you knew anybody or if you know anybody that uses a toy hauler and has a Harley trike in it what size toy hauler do they have and or if this unit have you’ve ever seen a trike in the back of a Brinkley I like the size of the what kind of truck do you have to pull it , thankyou
Thanks for joining us! We pull our G3500 with an F450. These rigs are heavy. How wide is your bike? We haul both of ours in there.
@@whilewestillcan it’s a Harley Davidson trike 2023 105.1” L X 54.72”W X56.3” H
We will run down to where the rig is parked and measure just to be sure but I believe you’ll be fine!

We have a Newmar based star 3124 and we’re looking at getting a toy hauler instead and I see that you have two big doggies so do we is a little over a year and three months, he is an English cream and we have his name is moose, and we have a 12 week puppy English cream and his name is Max and they’re both from the same father so their brothers from a different mother we are dog people too . Love your Indian motorcycle a friend of mine owns hollister indian in Hollister California beautiful custom bikes if you ever have any issues or problems, let me know Reyes the kind of guy that could fix it.

I can’t wait to see your Independent suspension video. We picked up our Brinkley Z3400 a week ago. We had to upgrade the F250SD to a Ram 3500 dually. We are doing our maiden voyage to Oregon from South Carolina. That will be one heck of a shake down run😂.

We just had independent suspension installed on ours this week. Definitely worth the investment so far in our opinion. The folks at MorRyde are fantastic!!

Will there be an increase in tire/wheel size? Or will what you currently have be reused... I've seen several whose wheel size increased, but they didn't already have disc brakes.
As far as I know tires remain the same. If I hear different I’ll let you know.

Yes we think it’s a good idea. It’s a ton of money but so was the rig. If the roads werent so bad we probably wouldn’t.

Deposit was only $350. That locks in your installation date. You’re right about the roads!!
Triple with 8k axles is $8950. We already have the disc brakes.
Independent Suspension is a great investment from all the research I have done. Worth the money for sure. When we purchase ours that will be the first thing we do!

So true on your children not wanting your stuff. Our last move we really got rid of so much stuff. My daughter in law did take quite a bit. Everything else I gave to the Goodwill and a thrift shop. My kind neighbor suggested I have a yard sale, 😂 We both laughed. It was not worth my time or energy for that. Besides I like to donate or give things away to people who are in need and appreciate it. It’s not about the money. We all can use some help. ❤
We are glad we sold a lot of $3,000 is nothing to sneeze at and it’ll help pay for more epic adventures. I get it though.

This is our second HOA. Both have been great! Not unreasonable at all and have been helpful. So sorry you had bad experiences with them.
I have sold two homes by owner. One home I had 3 real estate agents give me a free, no committment market appraisal. I then listed the homes on Zillow and FSBO and had signs made for out front. Agents would call me and tell how I had priced it wrong and how they could net me more if I listed with them. I declined. Afterall, it was realtors who had given me the market appraisals. One of the realtors who had given me a free market appraisal called and screamed at me that I owed her the listing and a commission. I had to report her for harassment. I sold my properties for over asking, paid an escrow and title co. a low flat fee to close the transactions, and saved $80K in real estate commissions. Your local statutes tell you what disclosures to make, and you can use generic forms for disclosures and for the purchase contract, or use an attorney. If listing on Zillow, it is free, just make sure to type your contact info in bold type in the first line of your description and instruct buyers to contact you directly and not via the Zillow messaging field, otherwise buyers won't reach you, they'll be routed to buyers agents who pay Zillow for the leads and you'll be on the hook for a buyers commission.
Thanks for the tips!! In Wisconsin we can’t list by owner on Zillow. Lobbyists at work I’m assuming. Agents must realize we have to take care of ourselves. We aren’t obligated to use them.

Rocky had spares so he replaced them which is not an easy job. I’m glad house stuff is behind us too!! I feel so much better now. We were passing by the Brinkley factory on the way to New York so we picked up some more from them.
Good notes on "stuff". Been going over that with mom. I have no kids so a 45% action fee doesn't matter to me when I'm gone. Pay them to do it. Family was asked and don't want to deal with my "stuff" they said. See you in NY.

Just went through it as well. You speak words of wisdom. Our only regret was using a realtor. It’s been a month and still have two PODS in storage of stuff to get rid of. 14 months until retirement and into full time Mode. We plan selling the new home we just bought and buy a couple RV spots. We currently live in SC. But our grandkids are in Oregon. So….we will cross that bridge when we get there. BTW went looking at RV’s again. We will definitely be getting a Brinkley. There s nothing that compares out there. Safe travels.

@@whilewestillcan Probably a Z series as we currently own an F250 gas Super Duty. However my wife is coming around to the full time idea. So when we sell the house we will have more flexibility and then we could move to a bigger truck and fifth wheel.

If you're in a desirable area you don't really need an agent. You can get your comps off Zillow to determine value. The attorney is a good idea.
Problem with comps and Zillow is that we live in a scarcely populated area so comps were hard to come by. We feel we did well though.
Curious on your thoughts of purchasing an extended warranty?? We our looking at buying the z3100. Rv dealer wants over $13,000 for extended warranty 😲
We opted not to do that. We’ve heard they make you jump thru tons of hoops for claims and often they are denied.
Never, EVER buy Coating/protection items from the dealership. I sold them for years, and I will have to expain that to God someday. IF you want a warranty, check out aftermarkets ones first, get their price, and have that in your pocket to negotiate with the Finance manager when he offers his.
