@@Wander98765 Always do timely service, don't ignore suggestions from the mechanic to replace a part due to wear & tear. Today you may save money by ignoring a part replacement but tomorrow it'll cost you much more if something else goes wrong. Also, to specifically save money you can opt for the service packages, they will help save atleast 4-5k on each service. Get the extended warranty for sure, keep your peace of mind for 6 years!

So my friend here has had 2 Superbs for a total of 8 years and had no issues with electronics or the gearbox. Only had e-hand brake issue because he tried drifting 😅 Apart from that both of us own a Rapid, diesel & petrol. We both have faced issues with window motors, which sometimes fail to close but try 4-5 times and it does. Other than that no issues with gearbox or electronics. That being said, I'm not saying it can't go wrong, I myself took a gamble when I bought a 67k km run 3 Year old Rapid DSG back in 2022. There are a lot of complaints of the DQ200 going kaput (and I've done the research) yes around 15% people will face issue with their gearbox during their ownership but that also means you could end up in the lucky 85%! It's wise to buy a pre-owned Skoda if and only if you love to drive and the car is not very old. Rarely would a part go wrong on a VW/Skoda, but when it does it'll be a hefty cost to bear. Keeping that in mind, go for it. Don't buy a used Skoda because it's in your affordability range (as per your budget for a new car) If let's say your budget for a new car is 20 lakhs, don't invest more than 10-12 lakhs on a pre-owned car. Never make the mistake of investing all of it in a pre-owned car. That's my humble and LONG opinion! 😀

@@TractionControl thanks for your response. Now I need your support in this: I'm getting an Octavia 2022 style petrol model for 23L directly from the first owner. Total Running- 21k Inclusions: 6 yrs extended warranty 4 yrs service package All the services done with skoda dealership only and that too free as the owner has opted for service package. So basically if I buy the car, I will still be having 4 yrs of warranty coverage and 2 yrs of service coverage. What's your opinion? 😊

@@1787aryan Sounds like a good deal, but I would suggest to take the car to an authorised service centre and get it thoroughly inspected for odo tampering and any parts that maybe on the deadline for a change. It will cost you less than 2k but will provide a peace of mind assurance!

Agree with your point but not 100% For example, a Suzuki may have 20 air bags but in a collision between these 2 cars you will still die in the Suzuki.

@@TractionControl What about if this Compass collides with a truck at high speed? There are better chances of survival if there are 6 airbags right. The GNCAP testing will be done with top models which has 6 air bags. For Compass Euro NCAP testing is done with top model in which it scored 5 star for Adult and Child safety. But they sell lower variants (Sport and Longitude) also as 5 star rated. This is with other car companies as well..
