Love this old footage capturing these iconic rockers at their peak, too bad they had to zoom in on Micks face so much, the quick camera cuts also suck but that was pretty common in those days, the old black & white ones were even worse, I saw "Playing With Fire" and you could count Micks nose hairs they were zoomed in so close, while the rest of the band was completely ignored until the last 15 seconds of the song. Guess it made sense for those selling the music, alpha male frontmen were literally made of gold and old Mick was at the top of the food chain.
The wiggle waggle woo? Great name.
It Does not come Better than this,
I've been told.Mick is one of the best Harp players around!
Talkin bout the midnight rambler. Everybody got to go.
adoro questo pezzo e in questo live secondo me loro erano al top
All in all fantastic 😘⭐
This is as good as it gets! Fabulous 😘
I'm 62 and can't remember time without them.
The band of '39 with Buddy Rich?
Amen.
Ann was so cute and adorable! And all the ladies dancing with her are simply delightful. Love this number!
This is how I remember these guys, and the lineup. I saw them in '71 and '73. This is Allman Brothers at their best.
This music lives in my 65 year old soul, been there since I was 14.
Awesome…period..
Now i know where I would time travel to.
Was that Rikki Fataar in the crowd at the end?
we lost some stuff man, Buddy, Otis, Jimi, Janis, Jim, Duane, Berry, Jim Croce but they felt us some of the best
The drum break in this is so sick. That fill Butch does out is simple but so groovy!
yes, tight little solo there for Butch...
Can’t hear sound
Dancing as if inflamed in a tender area. Thanks, CZcams Algorithm!
The Allman Brothers were pioneers and trailblazers in All-American music: Blues, Rock, Country, Jazz and Folk.
Not the best rendition, but definitely the best Stones song. Agree with all the Mick Taylor praise (Moonlight Mile. . . Jesus. . . )
How did these youngsters have some much talent. It’s just not fair. 😊
Wow, the best ever🎶🎶
This song was my initiation into the Allman Brothers. But, I was primed by my Father and his love of jazz especially Coltrane, Monk, and Davis.
Sadly, too much Jagger on screen while guitar solos were on the move
Jordan can play with anyone!
Not much has changed in principle. Women have always had to perform in suggestive or flirtatious dances in popular culture. This isn't that different to what happens in pop culture today.
Used to listen to the Fillmore East album all the time in early 70s.
One of the greatest 🎸😁
Back to their roots and club venue 👍
Charming 👍👏👏
Besides Betty Grable, future opera star Dorothy Kirsten is singing in the chorus.
Doesn't that set in the back look similar to the female anatomy. Couldn't be a mistake. Daring.
All that feminin pulcratude. Yawhee.
Sort of like the pre-game ralleys in High School? Where some of the HS babes would have a routine? Or NYC, or Hollywood? A show, show like with Judy Garlen? In the 1930s?
Awe
it's time for mick to feed pigeons in the park
Disgusting and por-no-graf-ic. The collapse of morals, on display. Signs of the Antichrist, and godlessness. Probably communism. So, where can I see more of this? Asking for the Ladies Adjunct Purity Committee, of course.
❤❤❤❤❤🐺🐺🐺🐺🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😈😈😈😈😈
To think, year for year, this is closer to my birth than my birth is to me today…time is a funny thing!
This only footage of a Chromatic Harmonica player I've seen in my life that warrants any praise. I hate the instrument. Always have done. And in fifty five years of watching live music, always used it's inclusion in any live set to head for the bar for another pint. This demonstration of its capabilities by Jagger is one exception, and while I'm delighted to have discovered this extract from the Marquee session, I really wish I had been at the front of the stage to watch this performance. And those who were regulars at that sinful venue will know too well what a sacrifice that could be. Lovely video. Keep safe all. Nick the Wizard.🎸
Brian Jones early Stones was their best musician. Too bad he got fired and drown by some pissed off construction worker in his own pool.
I love this kind of shit so much.
1970? No way this is 1970
why?
This number reminds me so much of the “All I Do Is Dream Of You” number in Singin’ in the Rain. The costumes, the choreography, even the tune look and sound so much like that Debbie Reynolds number.
They are copying many steps from black dancers like Josephine Baker.
Awesome team sport!
Looks like Busby Berkeley dance numbers, and stage work. He was the KING of early film choreography. Hasn't been anyone like him since.
this is one of many numbers why ive been listening to allman brothers for45 years its just amazing!!!!!!!!!!
God bless you Duane Allman for your talent and sharing with the world. Gone way too friggin soon. Still listening every night in 2024.
