What do you do if one of the outside cards are a nine? How does the other player win? Just by getting rid of their cards at that point?

I appreciate the walkthrough, but this video didn't show how to play with either expansion, so the title is a bit misleading.

I just bought the game and I have a few questions: 1. Can you use the Elf (Reactivate the power of ANY SUPERNATURAL under your control this turn.) to play the Dragon from your combos, then the power of the dragon is now protecting two of your combos instead of one combo? (can it work like that? if so that's an op strat if u get lucky to get both) (edit: same with the nymph) 2. Can the Dragon protect the owl, crow, and setting combos? or no?

You can get it much cheaper if you shop around! But a really fun enjoyable game and art work is pretty cool :)

Is one supposed to play with 97 cards from the base game plus 54 from the expansion (151 cards total) or should i replace the point cards from the base game with the point cards from the expansion?

The scoring at the end of this game was incorrect. The blue plant or vegetable tiles should have not counted as points. Any flowers on vegetable or plant tiles are only scored when connecting to a tile of the same color. Not sure how we missed this rule. We played this game several times before this video. Its easy to miss things especially when recording videos. Thanks to tabeaserth for spotting the scoring.

Hallo tolles Spiel 😊 Mir ist aufgefallen , daß bei der Punktezählung am Ende , die Blumen falsch gezählt wurden . Die einzelnen weißen Blumen geben immer einen Punkt . Die drei Blumen auf einer Karte geben nur drei Punkte , wenn sie an einer Karte der selben Farbe angebaut sind .

I had to recreate the tournament in bga to give players more time by extending the game durations. Each player will have 5 days worth of time per game instead of 1 turn per day. This should be enough time for each player in different timezones to play. I have updated the link in description.

Great dad-daughter-duo video. Thank you both for sharing how easy to follow and play - I was on Amazon looking for stocking stuffers. Since Halloween is a popular holiday in my grandchildren’s home, this will be perfect. Keep up the videos of how-to-play interactive games. Much needed in this grandparent’s world haha

When I played this with a group the confusion came when we all wanted to play instant cards and the turn order. As everyone plays at the same time it became chaos with everyone trying to invert, add/subtract points from one another, etc... The rules aren't clear.

Hey Jim, just in case you're not already aware of it, there is a recently released expansion called 'Spies, Lies and Supplies' which adds another 3 theaters (Diplomacy, Economics, Intelligence) with cards numbered 1-6, with new tactics, in each theater. There's also a new resource: supplies, which add to the strength value of the theater in which they're played. You can play with either the expansion on its own, combine it with the original game to provide 20 possible 3-theater combos (e.g. Sea-Economics-Air), or play what they call an 'epic' which is the first player to win 3 out of 5 selected theaters. There are also options for 3 or more players. The expansion has received very good reviews. Anyway, thanks for reviewing what in my opinion is a very underrated game.

Do you just add all the card from the expansion to the base and play as it is or are there a fixed number of card each game?
