B&T’s New MBT Stock vs Telescoping Folding Stock
zhlédnutí 1,7KPřed 2 měsíci
I've been getting a lot of questions about how the B&T MBT Stock stacks up along side the now discontinued B&T Telescoping Folding Stock on Instagram and other places so when the question finally hit here on CZcams, I decided I was overdue to make a video breaking it all down for all of you. I'm using the MBT stock on my competition APC9 Limited this season (2024) and absolutely love it. If you...

I decided a few months ago that the @btusa3829 8.9" APC9 Limited will be my 2024 competition PCC, and with winter in full swing, now is the time for testing and calibrating my gear for the approaching competition shooting season that will be here soon! My first order of business is to experiment with muzzle devices on this already amazing gun to see if I can "race it out" anymore than it alread...
B&T Hush Puppy G19 Collaboration at SHOT Show 2024

I don't usually get excited about any Glocks, but as per usual with @btusa3829 whenever they get their hands on something, they make it unique and special (because they can), and their take on the Hush Puppy is no exception. Overlooked by many attendees to the B&T booth at the 2024 @shotshow I made sure everyone I spoke with was made aware of this very cool and unique offering! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬...

I don’t need the best buckshot, just what works
Isn't the best buckshot load the one that works?
Well said, and very very good points. ....its almost like you do this professionally! Lmao!

Federal Flite Control 8 pellet OO buckshot. The tightest patterning round I’ve found.
I do not agree with your ammo choice. The tight pattern of the Federal Flite control is far too tight for home defense. When awakened in the middle of the night, one is less likely be so accurate confronting some intruder in panic state. It would seem much better to have a 6-8 inch spread at 10 yards to be more likely to hit and disable your target intruder. Perhaps even #4 buckshot would be even better. You may only get one shot if the intruder is armed so you want to stop them in their tracks. A good solid hit with 00 or 4 buckshot is capable of that provided you hit them.
Regardless of the type of ammo you prefer, your reasons for preferring more spread in your pattern are a bit misguided. The bigger the spread in your pattern, the more precisely you have to aim. Here is an explanation why czcams.com/video/b8H1Hx4Ftug/video.html
Considering how much HKs cost in the U.S., I'm not sure it's worth it. I'd rather just have DA/SA manual safety/decocker in one lever, but one has to try every gun before ruling it out. H&K's guns are also at the moment not nearly as small as newer micro 9s. That's a handsome gun, but I'd love to see a 5.5"-6" total length version for concealed carry. Basically a 9mm in a .380 sized frame. If CZ just sold their CZ compact in micro size with integrated safety/decocker and DA/SA, I would be happy. But they make you choose one or the other. I like both with the ability to carry hammer down, safety on, go to cocked if I need to, and then safely decock with one in the chamber so I don't have to remove the mag and extract a round to make the gun safe. S&W's CSX is the same way. Make it DA/SA integrated safety/decocker and I am happy. But they act like once a gun gets around 6" it has to be striker fired polymer junk with terrible triggers and no safety. I would also love a Browning Hi Power with all these features in a micro size. M&P Shield Plus seems to be offering the most in the smallest size right now, but everyone is jumping from copying Glock to copying Sig's P365. They probably will do this another 5-10 years and forget hammer fired folks except for competitive shooters who want huge guns and nice triggers.
I use 00 or 000 in my 2.75-3” guns. I use #4 buck in my Versa Max and Super Mag. Even through a cyl bore choke 54 pellets of #4 is my ideal defensive/offensive scatter gun
54 pellets in a 2.75” 12 gauge #4 buck load? Might want to cut one of those shells open and count the pellets yourself. You’re probably going to find something closer to 24 pellets.
@@SeanGoBoom no I mean 54 in the 3.5” Versa Max and 3.5” Super Mag. Those shells were designed for that heavy payload/capacity My apologies for the confusion, I should have clarified that better.
How much
I am here because of Chris Redfield from Resident Evil Village. This was his primary pistol and they named it USM-AI in Bronze Cerakote and Black combo. One day I will acquire this beautiful piece.
For us steel challenge guys: spc9 with tailhook stock, Carbon fiber HG, 4" pdw barrel with 12" aluminum bloop tube, Cmore, and 6 of those 15rd mags
I have an apc9 SBR. Between the k version or apc45, which one are you choosing? I absolutely love my apc9 btw
T shot would be brutal.
God damn you can shoot
I'm buying a USP 40 compact from my buddy next weekend and he put the LEM trigger in it. If I wasn't excited about it before I damn sure am now. Looking forward to firing it and getting to know it.
Burn proof gear makes an excellent bag that isnt huge. Fits my apc9 with the folding stock, 2 30 round mags and wolfman suppressor perfectly.
Wow
If it tells you anything, my friend and i both could not distinguish the difference in recoil between his Gen5 G19 (9mm) and my VP40 using standard FMJ range ammo. I have fallen back in love with .40 SW because of this pistol.
Depending on the State you live in.. Prosecutor will ask.. Why you got Hollow points. .Why you got buck.. Slugs.. They want you to have birdshot
I'm not aware of any case where this kind of point was made, and if such a case exists, it isn't the norm. In most jurisdictions in the US, the use of a firearm regardless of what it is loaded with or if it is loaded at all, is considered a use of deadly force, and if it is unjustified the prosecutor will treat it as the use of deadly force.
#4 Buck Lots of pellets
I found and ordered a VP 40 at a good price. I already have the P30L in 9 mm and 40 along with the VP 9 I purchased 2 weeks ago. This weekend will be H&K day at the range and I can't wait.
this aged well
What magazines are you running here for the 10mm? Thanks. I’m asking because I found the KRISS mags unreliable and the sgm don’t fit my mag release
I’d like to know more about the light mount. I’ve been changing my setup monthly looking for the perfect fit
Great video brother! I can her you're a fan of Slash as well lol
I agree. I use the 8 pellet load though. The 9 pellet always seems to produce a flyer.
That is certainly a common issue with some loads in certain shotgun makes and models. It's nice to have the 8 shot option.
That’s a frkn Breda B12i T4??
It's the B12i Tactical customized and up-fitted by Briley Manufacturing. I shot for Team Breda USA until they stopped importing into the US. My understanding is there is a new importer, but I haven't looked much into it.
Damn this stock is ugly lol. Bet it's comfortable though
I'd go with the standard size if I could get it with the telescoping stock.
What's the optic?
The amount of info in this 6 minute video… probably saved me a ton of time searching…thank you.
So--------this requires an SBR tax stamp, correct?
For sure. Anything under 16 inches with a Stock = NFA Item SBR
how is it vs a jp pcc rifle?
Hi Sean, fine video as always, I am in Italy and a b&t fan. I own an apc and a ghm, thinking about the spc9 9 (no other caliber are aloud in our range, so...) how is it possible that even if b&t sale the extractor kit for the 9mm lower there are no videos around that show how to replace it. I know it is not an easy procedure but that is exactly why you guys should give us a break. Will you think about it? Thanks my friend go B&T. Antonio Volpe.
🇺🇸
Is that considered a brace or a stock? How's the felt recoil with the stock being used? I heard it's uncomfortable but this was from a place where many won't admit to being recoil sensitive and lie about things (arfcom) so I need someone to give an honest opinion about it.
I believe the Apollo has an aluminum grip?
I have an Atlas Titan thinking about upgrading to Artemis. What are your thoughts? Is it worth it. Thanks.
Pls fix posture
Cant SBR due to commie state, hell even just paying a tax stamp is a commie racket. Currently using the SPC9 for USPSA, managed to do a few GM runs with it. I haven't felt the recoil on an APC for comparison, but with the SPC9 16 inch model, I slapped an aggressive vertical comp on it, and quite frankly it shoots better than a tuned JP GMR15. I can't imagine the APC of yours shooting any better without going to a roller delayed or gas system, but since you've shot both ill take your word for it.
Nice what kind of jacket is that?

I’m a Glock and Sig P320 guy. My HK USP Compact 40 remained in my safe until I installed the LEM kit. It’s an instant upgrade. It actually transformed the firearm.( PS. I installed the parts myself, pat on the back. It’s an advanced installation.)
Your choice of ammo is great, but, good luck getting it (expensive). Rio 00 Buck 9 pellet, I’ve always been able to find and it’s about $20.00 for 25 rounds.
It is available everywhere I've looked. Local stores, websites... Google is your friend.
Form 1'd my APC9 with the original HK style folding stock. B&T short QD grip and the original clear mags. Folded, with a couple 30 rd mags, it fits into a small backpack. Currently awaiting the GOV to approve my wolfman 9. Going on 30 plus days now
Sounds like an awesome setup. Asking permission and waiting is a pain, but the wait times are narrowing quite a bit from what they historically have been.
Why couldn’t they just spring load that stock though?
It is spring loaded. It just isn't 100% reliant on a spring mechanism like the Raider to be functional.
It's spring assisted so you don't put your hand infront of muzzle when deploying
Both are awesome but I run the B&T Telescoping Stock on all my B&T's.
Like you said, both are awesome!
Great to see Father and Son bond. God bless your family.
You are so kind. Thank you.
Like mentioned from comments, the Achilles Heal of the B&T APC 9 series is the factory mags. Very weak springs and base pads come apart when dropped. No issues with the Glock mag series.
You're talking about a very limited number form a bad batch from 5 years ago. Not to mention the factory mags were updated two years ago and run more reliably than the Glock configurations.
@@SeanGoBoomI havent heard about any issues with the glock mags. Why do you say they run more reliably?
which holster is this? I'm looking for one that accepts mine with an X-300U-A for a USW-G. any ideas?
It is the only current holster B&T has offered for the USW-G. I've since had to have a custom holster made for my USW-G / light combo. They are working on a level 2 / level 3 variant for it this year as well.
Sean I’m always interested in H&K firearms. I have several of them. My USP compact in .40S&W is a delight to shoot. Since they ( H&K ) sponsor you; you probably have more insight into their product. Keep those videos coming !!
I haven't been with HK for 6 years now. Not sure you'll see anything from me about their guns again any time soon. Glad you like the old videos though.
I love B&T, I have two heavily modified B&T's, B&T TP9 and B&T GHM9, and a APC9 Pro coming soon! I just not sure if I want 9mm or 45ACP...
