A gal who's been enthusiastic about photograhing for over a decade now. I started with Nikon D3200, then moved to a Nikon D5200 and there's where I've stayed for now.
I love big and small. Macro of the little things. Sky for the colors of it, stars and northern lights. And everything in between.
Based in Finland, I get to experience all four seasons. And I love it!

We have wonderful variety of animals this time. Some babies. I was hoping to catch a little fox, and I got one. Not quite a newborn anymore, but definitely this summer's doings. Such a cutie. Big and small mooses. Deers. And another one I had hoped to capture, a finnish forest reindeer. It's not the same as those reindeers you may know from Santa Claus. This one is a more rarer one, not living in the north of Finland.

I have this old and a bit scary forest at my reach. Each time I hang out there, I imagine how mysterious, almost fantasy-like, the surrounding would look with a bit of color-editing. Some little birds feeding of some left over seeds from winter feeding spot. First warm day of the year, birds are busy with building their nests and singing through all morning. Do you like watching running water as much as I do? There is something calming in it. If you close your eyes, the sounds are so relaxing. Here's some footage of a little stream. Snow is melting and there is plenty of water on the move, creating these mini-rivers. Little streams dreaming of being huge rivers and waterfalls.

Plenty of hares again. I finally caught the fox on the trail too. Quick little appearances, but apprearances still. Couple of farm cats. Plus a mystery cat with its headlights on. And if you listen carefully, you may hear some mooing. The clips on this video are short. Towards the end the night clips become even shorter, due to the batteries losing their power.

Happy Easter to all who celebrate it! Here's another little video of creatures my trail camera picked up. To be honest, I was trying to catch a fox, there goes a path which I think one uses, but as it shows, I mostly got more hares than anything else. I don't mind, they are fun to watch. Hi Laura, they are nice timelapses, especially the Northern Lights scene. The daytime lapses would be even better if de-flickered. I've been trying to solve the flicker issue when using the D5200 ( in aperture priority ) for a while, mostly using LRTimelapse. I only got mediocre results. I recently installed Davinci Resolve and used their deflicker filter. The results were so much better after being de-flickered. My last video has some sunset timelapses if you would like to see the results.
