It depends so much on finding the right gym that meets your needs. Go and visit all the facilities in your area, talk to the students as well as the instructors. Get a feel for the attitudes. I am 71 and really enjoy the experience but was lucky Alexey is protective of all his students.
I moved to Boston shortly after meeting all of you but you were the guy who helped me get a hold of Alexey to get me started on the mats. Awesome to see you get that black belt man. You deserve it you're an awesome dude and you have a beautiful family. I hope to come visit you all soon
I'm glad you covered this issue. If you get in a fight and choke someone to death and the cops show up and they don't like what they see and they don't like your story, you will be arrested and charged with a crime. You also might get sued by dudes family.

Resistance bands. heavy ones 70# 80# 90# they are always lying on the floor attached to that post Alexey was working on.
