God dammit i love her like no other character in this game. That being said, i squeel so much for her, find her SO adorable it almost reaches puppy/parental cuteness. Like, she is EASILY the romance i love the most sincerely, but its also the one where that love feels the least... carnal.
Thank you bud! This helped a lot. It took me an embarrassing amount of time to find the .steam folder! (Beware of hidden folders!)
Sorry about that, forgot to mention it was hidden 😄 but I'm glad I could help. The game runs pretty well too (60 fps on medium settings)
@@Sword4Hire Hidden folder fiasco is not your fault. I just don’t understand Linux and trying to get better at it lol. I am pleasantly surprised how well it plays on the steam deck. Hope to see some Veilguard content in the future. Skimming through your channel now you have a lot of interesting content. Keep it up.
@@matthall5725 Thank you :)
It was so awesome seeing Hawke in Dragon Age: Inquisition!
The Polish singlehandedly upgraded the R letter.
Nice to see someone did that for Polish. Every time if i see someone like that is " I play that game only in *( put any game wich was made by native developers about someone book/movie in that language) that language dubbing for more immersive".But i never seen that for Witcher. You know what i mean, even if it's could be kinda complicated, but sorry for my English :). Best regards.
Thank you :) It does feel a lot more immersive, Geralt's voice is also better in my opinion. That's how I imagine him sounding while reading the books

Lol my vehicule doesn't appear. Another bug. Great
It's interesting how much more challenging this quest is without Gale. I'm pretty sure she just agrees to stop eating the pigeons if he asks her to but when it's someone else she is much more obstreperous. She even tries to lie even though you caught her on the roof where Cazador said she was hiding.
Average day in Poland I can vouch since I’m polish
it’s so sad how when V came out of a coma she had left him 😭 He lost his old life AND panam. Well, I was rooting for V and Misty after 😅

Ive seen this over 13 times already. Chat am i cooked?
But wait... Didnt Isabela say in Dragon Age Origins that she would sometimes pick one of the crew at a time to lay with to increase morale? I didnt realize theres this contradiction between statements in both games
@NickCorvello Yeah, changed her character a little from origins. I don't think they thought they'd include her in the sequel when they made her character for the first game.
Time to try human transmutation.
I heard it's fun
I genuinely like DA 2 my only complaints were the new art direction they with and the lack of diverse scenery otherwise I liked it
Too bad the combat was terrible, and they got lazy in world design.
*THIS was peak gaming! Not the woke trash we have now..*
Dragon Age has always had a dark theme. Until it became a Disney show with the 4th game.
HAVE YOU ALL FORGOTTEN THE HOW THE DARKSPAWN ARE "BORN"!!!!!
I remember and not saying it wasn't dark. Just appreciating some DA2 as I'm currently playing through it.
@@Sword4Hire Not saying its not a good game just not as good as Origins will ever be,
@@alexandarvoncarsteinzarovi3723 Nothing can beat origins 🔥

See, in some ways, DAII is better than Origins. It's less tactical, it removes plenty of RPG elements, but it's a more personal journey through Hawke, with enough leeway to feel like an agent in the story without changing the big aspects of it. It was clearly thought with a sequel in mind. What's unforgivable is the amount of times the recycle the same maps and assets. That just sucks, and there's no defending it.
I need to replay the game with polish language...
@@emixonalgaert4376 Do it. It's a whole new experience :)
Of course it was this dark, that maniac mage just sown Leandra’s face onto a pile of corpses and used blood magic to form a zombie that resembled his dead wife.
@samflood5631 It shocked me. I thought Hawke was just gonna find & rescue her. Didn't expect them to do this to Hawke's mother.

da used to be gritty and dark now its just another setting like warcraft.
the comedic timing of that guy re-materializing behind her was perfect.

Looks like typical family living in Dragon Age universe.
Inquisition is pure dogwater in comparison, feels like a chore playing through it
Word I tried to play it again couldn't push myself it's a hassle even tho right before it I did a second playthrough of da2 and origin
It has better gameplay but the tone is absolutely a departure from Dragon Age’s dark fantasy roots.
I don't consider this dark, simply because of the frustration factor. You can see it coming from a mile away and the game pretends it's a mystery and doesn't give you a chance to prevent it.
So adorkable. Just so huggable❤
why did you record this in portrait like a psychopath? all the menus are cut off so idk how you got to the menu

DA2 had a really good story; its fault was misfortune. The shift from origins to DA2 was too different. In origins, we could choose race or class background. There was a mini-story that you'd play through first, and there would be alternative interactions as a result. In DA2, you could only choose the class. It was a massive tonal shift, which is why most people don't like it. Plus, some of the side characters weren't that great.
I am still a pro mage
The half full bottle sitting on my desk never looked so attractive
Origins is darker.
Never said it wasn't. Love both games.
Not really, it didn't feel that personal compared to the things the Hawkes endured.

I really don't like this entire quest really makes me feels so sadness and almost broken, Also the son of the viscount death at the chantry was tragedy, Also Nissa at act3 murderer by her bloodmage husband huoan, Finally the Saarebas at act1 who burned himself as the Qun demanded it.
Oh, yes, Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 are amazing Dark fantasy stories.
Polski język najlepszy
Tak!
oh thats dark in origins they let you just end a kid rather than waste time curing him or if your a mage you can say you cured him leave the demon there and learn blood magic
That shocked me when I played it earlier this year
I never played dragon age 2.. i was kinda sure hes mother was Morrigan.. yet the voice actor is same 😅
They don't have the same VAs though?
Well I found it funny that while I was playing Origins for the first time not long ago, there were many Hawke male VA npcs around... it was weird ngl.
@AgX_28 thats what happens in games ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It would absolutely RUIN my favorite game if suddenly every character sounds like my coworkers.
excellent explanation for so many dislikes on the trailer of the new part
One of the things I loved about Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 is that they clearly show how mage freedom comes at a cost and isn't simply "bad templar guys subjugate good mage guys for no reason"
Oh god, THIS. I've tried talking to some of the newer Dragon Age fans and it seems to be full of Twitter idiots that screech about slavery the moment someone even considers the Templar/Circle position on things. As if we didn't see one poorly trained mage child nearly destroy a whole town without even knowing it was going on in the first game. Yes, the Templars can be nutjobs themselves at time. No, it isn't fair on the mages. But it also isn't fair on the random peasants that get torn to pieces by demons when some child gets possessed. There are very much two sides to this argument and both have valid points. By Inquisition the whole thing was watered down and became bland and rather one sided.
@@PumpkinHoard. I totally agree with this.
@@PumpkinHoard I would like to remind everyone about the magic events of Redcliff that, while it happened because the boy made a pact with a demon, it happened because his father was sick. The father was sick because he was poisoned. He was poisoned by a mage that his wife (and the mother of the child) made him enter in the castle. The mother made him enter to the castle because she counted on the mage to teach the boy to hide his gift, so he could stay with her, in violation with the Chantry law, and the woman is a pious one and she was one of those who believed that mage = evil. In short, my point is all of this happened because a mother didn't want his son to be a mage and to be separated of him and that magic is not the issue, but how it is perceived.
@@PumpkinHoard I liked Inquisition but I thought reducing the mage-templar conflict to a first-act sideshow was one of its weak points. It really felt like Origins and especially DA2 had been building up to this epic war that would tear apart the continent, but it just kind of....goes away. Because you're right, both Origins and DA2 made a point of revisiting both sides of the issue again and again, and there really are no easy answers. The Circle is an imperfect and cruel system prone to abuse, but the alternative is to just leave innocent people to the mercy of a power they have no conception of and no defense against.
@@cedriclacomblez9827 I'm sorry, but you're making a VERY strong argument for the Templar case without meaning to. All you've said boils down to "It only happened because the boys father was sick and he made a pact with a demon." OK. So ANY mage child who has a sick relative or friend is extremely vulnerable to demonic manipulation and is thus dangerous. Given that this is a medieval society where healthcare is primitive and likely only available to the rich..... That a lot of dangerous kids. But in reality it's much worse than that. Any situation where a mage kid is emotionally compromised becomes massively dangerous to those around them. Kids feeling scared and isolated due to bullying? Open door for a demon. ANY external force that causes them to be afraid, anxious etc can have the same effect. The prospect of war, darkspawn, angry Qunari in the streets.... All of this leaves a child vulnerable. Seriously, how many kids in the MODERN DAY would go through childhood without some real concerns that would leave them vulnerable in such a way. Not many I'd think. But this is medieval world full of magic and demons, a world that in a couple of decades has faced the potential end of the world through darkspawn invasions, civil war, Quinari Insurrections, Mage rebellion..... It's a worrying time to be living in. And as we've established, ANYTHING that is having a serious negative effect on a childs mental state leaves them vulnerable to demons. You can't expect a CHILD to make good decisions. A mage child NEEDS to be properly instructed, otherwise they are a ticking time bomb. Now this CAN provably be done safely outside of the circle. Hawkes father did it with Bethany and Mage Hawke. Flemeth did it with Morrigan. But any kid that DOESN'T have a highly capable mage parent is a massive liability to everyone around them.
As a pole living in podlasie, i can say that this is something that i witness like every other week
This is why I always make my Hawke side with the templars. He always starts as a Mage with with good intentions and the whole "Mages should be free" type shit. But the more he deals with the shit mages pull the more jaded he gets. After this quest he is so fuckin done with their shit. But once Anders pulls his little stunt... well then Templars aren't gonna need the right of annulment, Hawke will do it himself.
I could never side with the templar as it ended up with punishing people who were not responsible for the atrocities committed by the others.
@adamcheeseburger1369 people seem to forget how dangerous mages are. They don't deserve this fate, but when backed into a corner, they almost always CHOOSE to use blood magic. Hawke has been put into more dire situations than most mages ever have, and he still refuses to use it. They resort to blood magic because they are weak, rather than die with some semblance of dignity they choose to allow demons to control them. Is it unfortunate, yes, but compared to the destruction that unchecked mages can create, it is the lesser of two evils.
Pro templar mage hawke is like a pro Qun adaar inquisitor.
@ala1178 Not really, the inquisition is connected to a specific religion, and that puts it at odds with the Qun. Where my Hawke has never felt the need to learn or use blood magic, and he assumes most mages are that way, but over time, he finds that most mages will use blood magic if backed into a corner. After years of dealing with them, he comes to understand that the circles were made for a good reason. Despite his own apostasy he sees that his reluctance to use blood magic isn't the norm for mages and so he sides with the templars even if he doesn't really like them. Also, a mage just blew up the chantey with a bunch of civilians in it. Who do you think the common man is going to side with the Mages or the Templars?
@@flavortownfanatic7280 Excusing double standards doesn't make it any less a double standard bro. Your hawke is either tragically self loathing or an uncle tom levels of hypocrite. "a mage just blew up the chantey with a bunch of civilians in it." Doesn't excuse genocide nor collective punishment, like sebastian said the culprit is right in front of you Again a templar supporting mage hawke i like a Qun supporting adaar, like any oppressed supporting their oppressor.
