Your batteries suck
Pushing a button to start so much easier than recoil start and as tools close to face zero emmissions even better i remember sticking of 2 stroke after using garden tool equipment

The backpack itself would be a great product to take battery weight off the multi-tool/trimmers etc.
That video makes everything looks so good and easy but its all been edited. They not showing what happen 3 or 4 hours time
Until it goes flat. What I want is an inverter generator I can connect my own external battery to so I can run quietly in the evening and recharge the battery during the day.
No thanks, ill stick with dewalt who've had quite a bit of practice with 54volt

I'm a grounds man on a caravan park. Looking to upgrade my petrol equipment to battery power . Will mot be using g these products after reading these reviews.
We've used them for the last three years, and no trouble. Some of the batteries have died, but most are still going. The mowers are great and the hedge cutters are just so much finer cut than the Sthil single bladed one.

If you no anything about batterys this machine will be rubbish and after a frw changes it will not keep the charge as them batterys are rubbish nothing will replace petrol so tell ING lyes to these good people pure propaganda machine at work
I've been using Ego tools for my business for just over a year now... Should have made the switch a long time ago! So much nicer to use.
Used in 6 acres of church grounds over 4 years, few niggles but took a battering and came out smiling. Back pack is essential for strimming large areas and leaf blowing. The hedge trimmers are a no brainer even the 2.5ah runs for ages. I hate 2 stroke lurking in a hedge
Battery Hedge cutters do the job but you can feel the lack of power. I wouldn’t even bother with battery chain saws for now
After using Ego for 18 months for my gardening business (UK) I've gone back to petrol Stihl. I really wanted battery equipment to work out but it just isn't rugged enough, my Ego mower has completely died, won't drive and blades won't engage and the multi tool hedge cutter is starting to die. As I say I really wanted battery equipment to work out but unfortunately it just hasn't (it's not just Ego, I tried the Stihl battery equipment and that was even worse)
Ego is the best but non are good enough for a gardening business they are very good but content use is no good for the battery getting it warm draining it to low fast charge bad for it. I have the chainsaw 3 years same battery I use it a lot but I do rest it. Impressive for what they are I think battery technology isn't there not sure it ever will be but it will do the job.
I do most of the gardening at our home, I love gardening my grandfather when he semi retired worked for parks & Garden taught me. Any way my husbands disabled…so there’s only me to do it, it’s hard work and was often criticised for not using cordless tools. Have tried them are good Idea… agree with above comments tho. Especially the over heating & dying with full time use. I only have 60 ft garden front to back, so I tend buy corded tools, for main use they don’t over heat the same, you do end up with a lot of cable! Also I use less electricity. As apposed to battery ones, who sit there all day gobbling electricity, and the waiting to finish jobs, unless you keep a spare battery. For example I have a small battery vac, for occasional use , & a drill when I first got cordless tools, they spent more time on charge, for the time it’s actually got used. I got wise & use it till runs out then put it on charge, it’s a handy gadget, I love no cables on the stairs. I have a big wired one for everyday use. I guess ultimately it’s the same with gardening tools, it’s what you need to reliably do the job and if you care about it eco foot print? Ps. Know I’m a female ok ! But was brought up by lotta male relatives, and we lived in mining & farming in the countryside, and learned a lotta skills most other girls didn’t. My Grandfather taught me to change tires & check the oil in cars when I was 14 & showed me how to change a plug … I learned great life skills. 🥰❤️😁

I have a STIGA 80V lawnmower, bought in 2019, now redundant unless I spend £280 on a 5ah battery, or get a cheap £100 one from China - how env friendly is that!! Should have stuck with a petrol. Why are these any different, and when a cell does go (which it will) how do u replace them EGO??

Very impressive. Excellent engineering, definitely the way to go, especially with the interchangeable batteries. I have an EGO mower, chainsaw, strimmer, and a few big batteries. It all works well. But, this sit-on mower is 5000 Euro and takes 6 of the 12Ah batteries at 639 Euro each, so a fully loaded sit-on mower will set you back 8800 Euro. OUCH.
Great stuff! I've switched everything apart from my mower and brush cutter which I hope to do in the near future.

Compared to several Stihl trimmers I've had, this one is easier to start, quieter, and feels at least as well built . A major plus is it doesn't have the wonky, always leaking, complicated gas tank caps that Stihl has.*

Best battery mower for sure, but still it is battery powered and it needs long charge, while petrol is refilled in minute. This machine is great deal for smaller yards.

Sorry to burst your EGO, but this mower... (including the newer twin blade one) cannot mulch leaves well in the autumn. Petrol mowers are still king when it comes to that.
