Just got mine and put it together. I can not get it to start for the first time. Not sure what I’m missing.
Are you getting fuel to the carburetor, check fuel shut off, and does it have spark?
Spark plug was loose. Finally got it going. Actually seems to be a good machine!
Awesome
It looked like a hot but productive day 👍🏼
You are correct about both of those things.
This was a good video man. Those were some nice catch you got man. I like your kayak 🛶 man that is really nice man. I want me a pedal drive kayak 🛶 so bad but i can't get one because I have big & very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 sz15 6E wide ( which is very very extremely wide feet 🦶 ) with very very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe & the pedal are to narrow for me & my feet 🦶 keep falling off the pedal & it hurts When it happens. It really really Sucks having very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 man. I like how you was kayaking 🛶 barefooted 👣 because that how i have to kayak 🛶 too because of how extremely wide my feet 🦶 are because my toes are Evenly straight across instead of being at a 45° Degrees angle like your toes are. I can't even wear close toes footwear because of how extremely wide my feet 🦶 are & how my toes are Evenly straight across & fat & chubby. I can only wear open toes footwear like flip flops 🩴 which barely & i mean barely fit on my feet 🦶 because my toes are wider than the flip flops 🩴 straps. I guess that the piece i have to pay for being a chubby fat dude. But i was born with very very extremely wide feet 🦶 so . Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video buddy.
No slip clutch for me when they rust they no longer work. I use the shear pin and a mild bolt, which is easy to replace.
Thanks for the info. That’s something I hadn’t heard before. Perhaps it’s time to check mine out and see if there is rust build up on it.
Greetings! I’m a first time tractor owner, recently picked up a L4060LE and got a RCF2072 with mine. How loose/tight should the floating top link be on these mowers? Mine is rock solid. I can’t move it with all my strength and body weigh behind it. It’s to the point that when I tried to drop it off the quick hitch (it was delivered attached to the tractor) the skinny stabilizer bars started to bend up. I’ve read the owners manual but I can’t seem to find any specific answer about it. I don’t want to go tweaking things on this piece of equipment Willy nilly, so I’m trying by to seek out some wisdom from those more experienced than I. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment. I’ll see if I can help. I think I had the same issue. If it’s like mine there is a bolt on the top link of the brush hog. If you loosen it up a few turns it will allow the top link to float.
Awesome ideal.. however shouldn’t your thing be inside the box ? Because now you lock is only as strong as your hinge pin.. which can be tapped out with a hammer and nail,,,
I definitely agree. If I were to build another one. I would do that as you said. I appreciate the comment and thanks for watching.
Congratulations on your win!!
Thank you
Beautiful fish
Thanks for watching. They really are beautiful fish.
Solid start 👊😎
Thanks
Congrats man.
Thanks
Awesome awesome awesome. What a great day!
Thanks. It was an awesome day. Doing it in a tournament made it that much better.
Awesome video mate!! 🙌💪
Thanks. I appreciate you watching.
Great video man!! I’ve been wanting to make a kayak video for my channel!! Love watching your videos man!! Awesome job, keep it going!! 💪🤝
Thanks. Kayak fishing is a lot of fun. I appreciate you watching. I’ll definitely check out your videos.
Solid fish 👊😎
Thanks man
She was still on the beds! Wow. Late spawners up there.
Definitely
Good job man! You enjoying the new motor?
Thanks. I’m definitely enjoying the new motor. It took a few trips to get used to it. My 2 favorite things are being able to stay on fish with pinpoint (spot lock) and hitting it while measuring fish. 2nd just going farther when needed on big lakes.
Dammm im famous now! Thanks for the food and cabin stay !! 👊😎🎣
I thought you’d like that. Now I know you watch until the end. 😉
How does this rake work for light roots 2-6 inches deep and loose sticks?
I’ve used it for a final clearing of an area where there used to be a lot underbrush of small bushes. I worked backwards using the back rake for the roots and it worked really well. I just set the angle where it would go about an inch underground and it popped the roots right out. Some of the roots would get stuck in there but typically would come right out when you drag forward. Thanks for the comment and watching.
@@randomlikes Thanks for the quick reply. I thought maybe those adjustable rippers would help with the smaller roots? And does the loose debris accumulate sort of like a typical landscape rake?
@dustindavid5094 yes you could use the ripper teeth to. I just found that you get a better bite with the back rake. If you lock down the middle blade then it works more like a box blade or rake were it will accumulate kind of like a typical landscape rake.
You have me rethinking my kayak trailer build. I like your idea. Thank you for the video
I’m glad the video helped. I’d love to hear what type(s) of kayaks you will be hauling.
One walmart childs kayak. 2 pelicans and a lifetime. I hope to one day get me a better fishing yak, but at this time, it's out of reach. I have alot of problems with balance that's why I'd lile to upgrade.
I’ve upgraded 3 times in 4 years. I upgraded to a 2016 Hobie PA12 in the beginning of 2023 so I could start doing tournament fishing if you’ve seen my newest videos. I think the biggest thing with the trailer was to make it modular so I could make changes with my kayak changes. I would consider also looking at uni strut. It’s very versatile and plenty strong for kayaks.
@randomlikes very good info thank you. And yes you have have a new sub to your channel.
@michaelhale4041 thank you. Always feel free to ask questions.
How is this doing now that a year has passed?
We are still using it and splitting wood regularly. Thanks for asking. No issues yet.
Met ya at the ramp that morning you were pre fishing. You have a awesome set up. Good luck rest of the year man.
BTW been waiting for the video once I found your page. Looks like you had some decent luck that day. I had zero. Keep on fishing
Thanks. If you ever decide to do some tournament fishing from a kayak you will have to check out the Kansas Kayak Anglers Facebook page.
Looks like you found the drum at least.
If it was a best three drum tournament. I would won 1st 🥇. 😂
@@randomlikes 100% 😂😂
I didn't even know there was drum in that lake.
Ifs there is drum in a lake. I’ll find them.
@@randomlikes I'm the same way, that's why I'm surprised I've never caught one there.
How much was the pinpoint on amazon?
It was on sale when I bought it. It was about $400.
Great video! About how long would the gravel driveway be that you charge around $300?
There are a lot of factors that go into to that other than just length. If it’s just a straight shot, not very wide, and in good condition. Than quite a long one. But I might charge the same for a short that was in really bad condition. I more so consider how long will this take me.
Do you happen to know what size the hydraulic tank dip stick is?
I’m sorry I don’t know the answer to that
@@randomlikesokay, thanks for replay
Hey, I live in Kansas and I’m trying to find some bass tournaments to go to. Was there a cash prize or was it just a trophy?
You can check out the website for further detail. www.kansaskayakanglers.com
Great video Tony, thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thats pretty sick
Thanks. It worked out pretty well for me
Great Video!
Thanks for watching and making great attachments
Watched your video to see how you started it. My husband has not been able to start ours after only using 3 times. I thought maybe he is missing a step. Did I see you switching TWO chokes on?
1 is for the idle the other is for the choke. Usually we put the idle at 1/2 and then full choke
This guy is most definitely, eventually lose a digit. DANGER
😆not yet
Great job Tony, thanks for sharing the adventure!
😮
👊😎
Retiring soon. I'm buying a tractor for myself due to all the work our new property will require and for driveway maintenance and snow removal after that. I'll practice on my own property, hone my skills and if it turns into a part-time business after that, great. At the start, if I do work for others, it will be local. If the available work warrants it and I actually want to do it, I'll look into a trailer and a truck. Thanks for the video. Lots of good information.
I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the video. Always feel free to ask questions if you have any. I’ll do my best to answer them quickly. Thanks for commenting. I’ve got a few videos on the different implements I’ve had.
@@randomlikes New to your channel. I'll be sure to watch your other videos. Cheers

Great catch!!
Thanks!
That’ll get you to 103”! So fun man. What a crazy catch!!
Definitely a crazy catch. I can’t believe I actually got it in.
Hey man! I just bought the same splitter. First one I’ve ever bought. Hoping you can answer a quick question for me. Does the fluid in the clear hydraulic return line get foamy during operation? Mine does and I can’t find anything about if that’s normal or not. Thanks!
Yes ours does that too. You just want to make sure the fluid is topped off to keep any air out of the lines. It hasn’t caused any issues with ours. Thanks for commenting I hope this helped.
Great idea! Great production as well. I would have welded the hinge on the inside of the box to protect the pin. Other than that this is great!
I agree. That hinge is definitely a weak link. If you scroll through the comments there is a link of someone who built one inspired by this. He put locks on both sides and did away with the hinge altogether. This was a good idea. Thanks for commenting. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Did you require any money upfront? It’s sad to say, but people are not as honest as they use to be. It cost more to take them to court, than what you may have been shorted on a job. How do you handle situations like this?
I never did but there are a few times I wish I would have. The times I wish I would have are when I had large upfront cost. For instance I once paid for $2400 worth of gravel on my account with the assumption the person was going to pay me within 2 weeks of completion (the 1st of the month). He said I misunderstood him and he meant the 1st of the following month. Fortunately, I had enough in my account to cover it and he did pay me. If you have to pay upfront costs is when I would ask for money in advance. Also, always put everything in writing (get a contract). If someone doesn’t have the ability to pay upfront, you must be willing to walk away and leave it to a bigger company who can absorb those costs. Saying no, is sometimes your best option. Graciously decline the work. If there were jobs that only required my time and fuel I typically wouldn’t have them put any money down. Then at least you are only out of time and some fuel. Unfortunately, running a business has risks associated with it. This is one of those risks you do run into from time to time. Thank you for watching. I hope my response was helpful.
Great video. Thanks for taking us on your adventure!
Nice going!
Thanks. It was a good day
Got me one on the way thanks. Just as good as $2500 one we use to have imo
Thanks for watching and the comment. I’m glad the video was helpful.
My experience so far: Bad. Won't buy online splitter again. Hose from tank to support beam is twisted after installing. Don't see how to straighten. Damaged in shipping. OHV cover has a dent, the piece where you pin the control handle was bent inward so I had to gently heat up with propane torch and bend back so I could gently tap it in. Book doesnt tell me what the knob is thats on the hydraulic cylinder (it's small and was able to move it by hand) but it was leaking hydro. Took it off and I'm guessing it's a relief valve?? Purging the system of air thus far has been tedious and still ongoing. All connections are tight and see no leaks (besides that knob that's factory installed). The instructions don't properly label the hardware so it was a "that kinda looks like the screw pictured" deal. Book says 2.1 gallons hydro, but also says 1.6 gallons. Found out it diesnt mention this but FIRST 1.6 hydro, run it and cycle it, then add the rest. I'll see if customer service can make my experience a little less of a headache. Report back when I do.
Please do and let everyone know. My brother uses it regularly and myself on occasion and we haven’t had any issues with it. That’s disappointing.
Everything is plastic except for the motor windings.
Thanks for the comment.
Did you happen to sharpened the wedge that wood goes into or did your paint wear off? I was thinking about sharpening mine i just got
We did not sharpen it and haven’t sharpened since then.
awesome job!! I didn’t expect to see smallmouth.
Yeah finished both days with all smallmouth. I did better with catching smallmouth in practice. So I just ran with it.
Good luck at tenkiller 👍
Thanks. I’m ready for next season.
