Drill first, then face, save on cyle time. Just keep your drilling starting point infront of part zero.

It's too slow and inefficient.
That machine is something special: So simple, but to think of it ! Thanks for sharing.
I wish I had thru spindle coolant. I have to stop every few depth cuts and shovel chips out. Just roughing the bore in before going in the lathe to take some weight out, plus this way ensures small broken chips.
Do you have through-spindle coolant on that machine ? Are the chips collecting in the bottom of that hole ? Sure looks like a hard time for the cutter. Is the hole not round or is it just the part-size that makes is a non-lathe project ? Thanks for posting the video !
That's working nicely. What are those pieces for ? Any video of your press/brake ? Or isn't it finished yet .
That removed metal fast! What sort of lathe is it and how many HP ?
It's a Hyundai Hit 15s, 15hp continous spindle motor
Thank you for the info! I need to try one of those drills. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your press brake being done. Hope you can post video of that working.
What a nice mill!
Great video.
