If I had the mental capacity to do a top 100 best electronic/dance records of the 2010's this would definitely be in the top 25, along with the first two crystal castles records and black earth that made me by white ring, I was SO partial to the witchouse era/tumblrcore era everything about it was aesthetically perfect and it produced so many good bands. It was a special time to be on tumblr lol.

Looking back at it, Butterclock / Laura Clock was underrated. What's crazy to me is, she even managed to DJ at Berghain! Personally, I enjoy the ghostly, almost otherworldly voice she liked to infuse her music with. Laura definitely stands out to me as a princess of Witch House.
Seriously underrated. She had the spooky dance music vibe wayyy before everyone else. I think Grimes' and Butterclock's music have a lot in common
