Now I'm going down a rabbit hole of mosquito attraction and what it could have to do with heart surgery. A better-working heart might change the composition of the blood, which in turn could affect the composition of the sweat and breath. Or maybe a course of antibiotics changed one of the body's microbiomes (gut, skin, mouth) in a way that has remained changed. Or maybe a dietary difference?
I walked to the compost pile. Literally a 2 minute job. I got swarmed. My legs are covered and swollen. My arms my neck and back. They bit thru clothes. Iâm red as a tomato and itchy. Going to doc in morning. I never got bit. After I started early menopause. The things have a map to me.
I used to never get bitten, now about 2 or 3 years I get bitten and my bites swell and are so uncomfortable. I learned you put rubbing alcohol on as soon as you notice it. Then I have to put hydrocortisone cream on it and a band aid. Except not band aid brand because I am allergic to the adhesive.
Beautiful!
Impressive green thumb! my garden is puny comparatively but so much joy đâź
Ok i tried it as youve said. I fell on my face. Your a step above us. How about noodle kugel?
thank you for the recipe! it's the next thing I'll do đ
I absolutely love quinoa & use it all the time. Great as a substitute for rice or in soup in place of potatoes or pasta. I also make quinoa salad with parsley, chick peas, onion (or whatever veggies you prefer) & a dressing made with olive oil, lemon juice & a bit of red wine vinegar.
All sound so good! I have a soup recipe I posted a while ago that has quinoa in it. Delicious!
@@homegrownkosher I will look for that!
@@homegrownkosher I will look for that!
How do you actually cook quinoa. Like rice. Does the water boil out of the quinoa or do you have to drain like potatoes
For every cup of quinoa I use 2 cups of water or broth. Cover, bring to a boil then turn heat down to a simmer & cook for about 15 minutes. Remove from heat & let stand for a few minutes. Liquid should be absorbed. Fluff with a fork & serve however you like.
The exact recipe including cooking instructions is in the video description đ
â@heatherstadnyk3926 Yes! Very similar! I use a tiny bit less liquid though đ
I love this! I wish there was more detail... she clearly is doing something with the texture of the kugel by blending some of it again.. and the oil is hot when she shlops in to the pans.. I just feel like we're on the verge of meeting the best potato kugel, but they won't let me through the door lol
Good thing the recipe is in the description complete with full instructions!
