Mine is older and I’m just going to mod it while the miles are lower, not alot just try to hit around the 325-350 range and make it Sound Amazing because I plan to keep it as Long as Possible and Hunt an STI down when I’m done paying for this one. P.S. if STI’s are extinct then I’ll probably hunt down a type-R or something similar to an STI!!

I always wanted a WRX and I was thinking of buying one in 2022-23, but Subaru decided to come out with the ugliest redesign I’ve seen.
They did us dirty
I just picked up a 2022 in WR Blue with no regrets. I almost pulled the trigger on a 2020 and a 2021, but after Subaru let me borrow their 2022 for 3 days, I was sold on how it performed. Previous generation looks nicer, but IMO 2022 performs better when comparing both generations stock vs stock. I was one of those that honestly thought the car looked ugly on pictures, but it really looks a lot better in person. Hey, at the end we all wave to each other regardless of what generation you drive.
@@hieroglyphikz7132 I’m sure the performance is outstanding. But I truly dislike how it looks, and I’m not the only one for sure cause their WRX sales went down by 90%.
@@Dolomite1 I agree with you. A lot of people are not all into the look. I'm not sure about the 90% drop. The dealer where I got mine sold all they had. I got mine on reserve because they had no WR Blue. Give it some time, and you'll start seeing them on the road. I've already started seeing them here.

Hey Dylan, would you recommend buying a 2-3 years old WRX ? I am little concerned about the engine issues I've heard with that saying I believe a lot of people lease wrx instead owning them ?
It depends on how well the car was taken care of. I'm no expert on the engines of the WRX, but I have heard that some start to see problems around the 60k mile mark. It could be the older models that this happens to more though. If you know that a WRX has been taken care of and has relatively low miles I don't see a problem in looking for a model from a couple years ago. Hope this helps Bharat
