Good Afternoon, Good Evening, and Good Night
In the video, I talked about why badlion eventually failed. And then followed it up with basically my story since badlion shut down. When badlion left I lost a lot of motivation to play. I loved that server and to this day I still consider it to be the GOAT. I played MineHQ, but then went to Apex. When Lunar came, I was trying to make a server, but with a real sketchy dude. The guy probably would’ve stolen everything from me if he had to. He was not a reliable guy. And our resources were limited. Things worked at a snail’s pace. When valorant came out, I had a choice between the server or trying to make something of myself in valorant. I chose valorant but I never left you guys in the dark. This video is an explanation of my minecraft experience, where I am today, and what I am going to do next. With valorant, I started at the lowest level, I was a noob. But it was all so new and exciting. Until I felt I had a grasp of the game, I didn’t even play ranked, only unranked. When I played ranked, it took a while but eventually I progressed. And within 7 months I hit the highest rank in valorant, which is radiant. From starting at the literal worst rank to then hitting top 500, it gave me the confidence to pursue valorant as a profession. I wanted to go pro. And this was my journey for close to two years. I went to a good friend who helped me outsource myself and create an LFT post. Eventually, I found an org. They trialed 5 against 5, and the staff on the org looked at who the best players were on each team. From there, they put all the best players from the 10 people onto their “roster”, which included me. I met a guy named Joms there. With our team of 5, we joined a small tournament. We didn’t get far, but we faced off against a “good” team that was touted to win the small tournament. I remember we took a map off them but lost in the bo3. After this, Joms got cold feet and left the team because he wanted something better. From there, I was on NBG, my time here was short lived. We were in need of a fifth. We found it in someone named Cody. He and I recognized we were the best players there. So we left to pursue other opportunities together. I wanted a team where I was equal. Cody found a team and invited me to trial. Our core was me, Cody, cabates, skii, and nabaki. In only a couple of weeks, we were winning. But the team atmosphere was way off, and some people blamed it on Skii. They threatened to leave if he didn’t. Skii left and we stayed together as a core of four and looked for our fifth. Eventually we found it in onesnipeKO. But with Skii gone, we didn’t have an IGL. Cody took over and did his best, but we were handicapped, really. We joined a 250 team tournament with a 25k prize pool. We got 16 before getting knocked out. After this, the team disbanded. Cody felt he couldn’t get us further by being the IGL and we needed one. I set off to trial for some more teams, made it on some but they didn’t last because I was not motivated. So I took a break from trying to compete and focused on my mechanics. This is where I felt like I was going insane. I couldn’t keep my consistency and I would buy different mice and mouse pads every week. Needless to say, I was in a rut. A job opened up at a warehouse where my brother worked and I figured a job was just what I needed to further compete in valorant. I worked there for about 6 months ‘till I found a farm job working with animals. I stayed at the farm job for 1.5 years. It was here on the farm I learned what I wanted in life. To be a farmer, have my own land and raise my kids on it. To make that way of living my lifestyle and source of income. And valorant was just a distraction. Most importantly, I found and accepted Jesus Christ as my savior with the time working on that farm. He made me realize gaming wasn’t what I was meant to do. He put something else on my heart. I left the farm job two months ago to plan a cross country trip where I am going to work on different farms as a farm hand and travel in a camper-van I bought. I’d like to share the gospel for all of you watching this video: we deserve death because of our sin and rebellion towards God, yet God sent his son, Jesus Christ, to take our punishment instead, and so if we believe in Jesus Christ, we will be cleansed of our sin before God and granted everlasting life (and the only sin that will prevent you from being saved is rejecting Christ-as long as you believe and have faith in Jesus Christ, then all of your sins are forgiven). Let me know if you guys have any questions, I’d love to answer them. You guys are the best for giving me a platform and the opportunity to make videos. It still amazes me to this day that anyone would want to watch my videos, so thank you for that. And again, if vlogging videos or small update videos are something you guys would be interested in, I can definitely set that up. But I’d like to hear from you all too. You, and Danteh, will always be my best reference whenever someone asks me over ''the peak of Minecraft PVP''. I even created a ''manga'', which someday I'd like to vivify, in my head based on my Minecraft past adventures and you two are like demigods there. God bless you and remeber it's never too late to realize about the good things of life. Don´t ever look at your ''gamer days'' as ''tragedies'' or ''the cause of your self-misunderstanding'', it was just a phase in your life, and many of us have gone through something similar as well. First of all ,i’ve been watching ur videos back in 2017-2018 on badlion in ultra,you were always my favorite person to watch because you have always been chill and real and never acting egoistic of what you have achived ,im happy you find ur purpose in life, being a farmer is not easy my cousin who were going on a college dropped evertyhing and decided to create his own farm with animals land for cultivation were he has many things and he is happily married and and his efforts paid off because he earns a lot now from it ,he also plays video games sometimes in free time now but in the start he had to quit it because it distractes him from his dream I'm glad you chose that path because you will be able to live a peaceful and joyful life and hope one day it pays off to you too im sure it will because you are great person and and you should really record and upload vlogs from the farm and show us what you are doing and how you are progressing, I believe that there are many of us who would like to watch it, and it would certainly attract other audiences who have not followed you so far, so maybe you can promote yourself that way also because there are many people who loves and lives for that kind of lifestyle,my english is not the best hah but i think you will understand what i wanted to say,thank you once again for everything!

I'm currently at a similar situation as you were. I feel pretty lost. I'm not able to figure out adulthood yet. It's hard, none teaches you about it. I've chosen a path without clear boundaries and now I don't really know where to go from here on. For me the way I ended up quitting videogames for real was Tennis. It's such a wonderful, hard and complete sport. Really recommend it. I hope you create a beautiful family and live a nice life in the country as you want. Make it happen. See you around mate.

I’m really happy to hear that you’re doing fine. Since you asked: after Minecraft I’ve kept playing other pvp games, and I’m still having some fun with my online friends occasionally. But I’ve managed to find something new to dedicate myself to, which is calisthenics. I’d really love to compete in that sport but since I’ve been a mc nerd my whole life I’ve started really late practicing that sport, whatever I have no intention to make a living out of it, I don’t regret the time spent on Minecraft. In my life I’d like to pursue math and research, this is a dream I’ve had since my mc period.

Para todos mis espectadores españoles, hablé de por qué Badlion finalmente fracasó. Y luego continué básicamente con mi historia desde que cerró Badlion. Cuando Badlion se fue perdí mucha motivación para jugar. Me encantó ese servidor y hasta el día de hoy todavía lo considero el GOAT. Jugué MineHQ, pero luego fui a Apex. Cuando llegó Lunar, estaba intentando hacer un servidor, pero con un tipo muy dudoso. El tipo probablemente me habría robado todo si fuera necesario. No era un tipo confiable. Y nuestros recursos eran limitados. Las cosas funcionaron a paso de tortuga. Cuando salió Valorant, tuve la opción de elegir entre el servidor o intentar hacer algo por mí mismo en Valorant. Elegí valorant pero nunca los dejé a oscuras. Acudí a un buen amigo que me ayudó a subcontratarme y crear una publicación LFT. Finalmente, encontré una organización. Probaron 5 contra 5 y el personal de la organización observó quiénes eran los mejores jugadores de cada equipo. A partir de ahí, pusieron a los mejores jugadores de las 10 personas en su "plantilla", que me incluía a mí. Allí conocí a un tipo llamado Joms. Con nuestro equipo de 5, nos unimos a un pequeño torneo. No llegamos muy lejos, pero nos enfrentamos a un “buen” equipo que se promocionaba para ganar el torneo pequeño. Después de esto, el equipo se disolvió. Cody sintió que no podía llevarnos más lejos siendo el IGL y necesitábamos uno. Me puse a probar con más equipos, lo logré en algunos pero no duraron porque no estaba motivado. Así que tomé un descanso de intentar competir y me concentré en mi mecánica. Aquí es donde sentí que me estaba volviendo loco. No podía mantener la coherencia y compraba ratones y alfombrillas diferentes cada semana. No hace falta decir que estaba estancado. Se abrió un puesto de trabajo en un almacén donde trabajaba mi hermano y pensé que un trabajo era justo lo que necesitaba para seguir compitiendo en valorant. Trabajé allí durante unos 6 meses hasta que encontré un trabajo en una granja trabajando con animales. Me quedé en el trabajo agrícola durante un año y medio. Fue aquí en la granja donde aprendí lo que quería en la vida. Ser agricultor, tener mi propia tierra y criar a mis hijos en ella. Hacer de esa forma de vivir mi estilo de vida y fuente de ingresos. Y valorant fue solo una distracción. Lo más importante es que encontré y acepté a Jesucristo como mi salvador mientras trabajaba en esa granja. Me hizo darme cuenta de que jugar no era lo que debía hacer. Puso algo más en mi corazón. Dejé el trabajo agrícola hace dos meses para planificar un viaje a campo traviesa en el que trabajaré en diferentes granjas como peón y viajaré en una autocaravana que compré. Me gustaría compartir el evangelio para todos los que ven este video: merecemos la muerte debido a nuestro pecado y rebelión hacia Dios, sin embargo, Dios envió a su hijo, Jesucristo, para recibir nuestro castigo, y así, si creemos en Jesús. Cristo, seremos limpiados de nuestro pecado ante Dios y se nos concederá vida eterna (y el único pecado que evitará que seas salvo es rechazar a Cristo; siempre y cuando creas y tengas fe en Jesucristo, entonces todos tus pecados son perdonados). ). I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but since ig this is the end of ur mc content. I always wondered how u easily switch between sword and rod. I know u have a mouse button hotkey for rod, but do u keyboard hotkey to sword or what? Thanks for the content regardless <3
I have a razer deathadder. On the left side of that mouse, there's two buttons. The first button is hot keyed to my sword and the second is hot keyed to my rod. And so when I rod I can easily go from rod to sword by pressing the first button. And then vice versa to go from sword to rod.
Would be cool to see some farming vlogs
Normally don’t comment on a ton of videos but I found this video really touching. I played badlion consistently back in probably 2016-2018, grinded arena, was #1 global elo at a few points, was in all the huge clans like Contagion, Genesis and whatever. Looking back on it is always nostalgic, but I just finished undergrad and now I’m trying to find out what to do in life. I’ll always cherish those memories and I imagine a lot of people feel the same. Wishing you the best man, glad you’re figuring things out.

Cheers for all your uploads over the years. I'd actually enjoy watching your vlogs since I've taken an interest in farming as well. It's crazy that you and I went through an almost identical experience; where the distraction of gaming became a nightmare and turning off the online world was the refreshing and relaxing thing. You did the right thing making this video. Should it inspire even one person, in whatever way, it'd always be worth it.

I'm glad you'd take in interest in the vlogging videos, I need to sort out how I would go about doing all of that to make it into a reality. That's cool you had a similar experience as I did with the distraction of video games and then figuring out one's future. Thank you for saying that. I felt obligated, I left my fanbase in the dark many, many times with every decision after I left minecraft. And I felt I could no longer do it without saying goodbye and explaining away things. What are your plans and what specifically are you looking to go into farming wise?
@@atreality7316 I generally think it'd be a naturally rewarding life. The prospect of a self-sustaining food supply for my future family while simultaneously being able to offer our high quality products to the local community. It's one of the few jobs in life I can imagine waking up and being motivated and excited to tackle the day. It's hard work of course, but it's honest work. You can never disrespect a farmer. Specifically, I've taken a liking to bees. I used to be afraid of them when I was a child, and now I think they're cute (obviously they're endangered now too). Since I tasted raw honey for the first time just last year, I believe it's something worth being taken seriously. I think being a beekeeper is one of those niche jobs that hardly anyone even considers - - or wants to do for that matter, so I also think there's a gap I can fill. I'm lucky to have a really good farm locally to me. My first time there, I immediately felt a sense of serenity. My mom and I both agreed it'd be wonderful to live on one just like it in that moment. Maybe it's the feeling of togetherness that I long for, where everyone knows their roles and everyone works hard towards the same goal. Ultimately, I can't think of a reason to be discouraged. I'm energetic and it's our duty to use that drive to benefit humanity. Thanks for reading.
23:37 yo bro you'll probably like this book called "Into the Wild." The dude took a really similar journey to you planning to travel the world kind of in an unconventional way just bouncing around from farm to farm as a vagabond. He did some crazy shit like riding a boat all the way down the Colorado river to Mexico and lived out in the alaskan bush for many months. He inspired me to some similar stuff, I spent last summer just living out of my car driving across the Western United States. There's a lot of beauty to be discovered out there.
Dang, from some of the things you said he did, he sounds like a badass. That's cool he inspired you and that you were able to travel and see parts of the U.S.. Bravo man, that takes courage and determination, not a lot of people have that today. They want to play things safe. I'll add that book to my book list

thank you atreality.. it pains me to know we’ll never see more gaming content from you, your videos were always the best to watch. - can i give an opinion? if you enjoy/did enjoy creating content, why stop? i mean, gaming/making content doesnt have to be your whole life and you can still do more but, you should try out hoplite & play some of the new stuff out there, i didnt like it at first but it feels so good to be in something like the uhc community. if your ever feeling like you wanna try it out, a lot of us would love it if you did. thank you for the years
Who knows, maybe I will someday upload gaming content for you guys. Right now, I am going to be leaving on my cross-country road trip and to travel and work. But maybe when I settle down, I could make those types of videos again. Thank you for watching my videos
It's so weird to see everyone I played with as a 12-14 year old grow into a whole adult who's living out in the real world. To me back then always seemed like the giants of the game were so cool and amazing yet it seems like at this point most of us have moved on with our lives and are just normal people along with everyone else, for better or for worse. There's my attempt at saying something profound lol. I didn't know you too well, I've only vced with you a couple of times like 6 years ago and talked to you on discord once or twice but to me you've always come across as a pretty chill guy and it's nice to see that you're happy and doing well in life. I know that feeling man. I was once one of the youngsters playing the game, back in like season 10-11 of badlion. It's strange that now I'm older and more of a "veteran". I felt the same way, when I started, I always thought of Danteh, Tylarzz, xNestorio, ect, as the giants of the game. And I looked up to them. But now as I'm the age they were back then, I realize it was all in my head, haha. Yeah, exactly. Just normal people who got to experience something truly special. I didn't know you too well either. It's a shame, I kept myself in a small group of people instead of branching out and meeting all members of our community. Thanks for checking me out man, how are you doing?
