Having the towel is a great idea. My husband and I recently made bug out bags and I didn't think of towels. One thing I would recommend is that people know how to use a multitool or your credit card sized tool. A lot of people have them but don't realize all the features of them

Thank you for the extra tips, I started a 'go' bag 3 months ago,still adding items as they are afforded. One thing I put in was (2) extra pair of socks, if you end up having to walk & your shoes get wet a change of socks will help ward off blisters.

Grate ideas for the in the car go bag. I think i would add a map( i used to have a sign in my car, Dont fallow me im lost). Thanks for sharing.

There are some great ideas there. I have a to go bag that always travels with me. I need to add a couple more things that you mentioned that would be good. I live in a tornado/hurricane area and so I also carry along a water proof envelope that contains a copy of my house insurance and dog shot/rabies information in case I have to go to a shelter. It is always handy to grab and go.

I love your recipes! We have a lot going on here, and I LOVE having leftovers for quick homemade meals. I bet your house smelled amazing. I freeze dry my own “Minute Rice”, and love it! So do the poochies. 😊

Wild caught salmon is so expensive here. It's like $9 per lb. We love salmon but we eat it sparingly😔
