Recently tried to buy a 2024 Road Glide. Apparently Harley decided that their customer’s we’re getting tired of that heel shifter coming as standard equipment. They would much rather buy it at the parts counter after purchasing the bike. The dealer told me he would through it in for free, if it would get the deal done. It was a cash deal. I sat down to get the paperwork taken care of and write the check. Looking over the paperwork I discovered that they had added an hours labor to install the heel shifter. I didn’t say a word, just put my checkbook back in my pocket and walked out. Harley can indeed F**K OFF!

The classics which made the company are out of production so if HD folds nothing of value is lost. It's easy to keep anything Knucklehead or newer on the road at modest cost and HD closing would get rid of the posers and non-mechanics. The golden age of motorcycling was when riding demanded much more of riders and filtered the less dedicated. The aftermarket provides and there are more than enough Harleys to last another century without a single new one being sold.

Orlando dealers, the bell is not ringing like it use to. High turn over in the sales teams, marginal service and over stocked on product. No wonder Harley has gone woke. I was in one of the dealerships the other day. Sales people making phone calls, and you just see the dismal look on their faces. They definitely need to take a hard look at how they deal with the customer. There will always be people buying and selling. There’s other avenues for finding bikes

I’ve recently purchased three 2023 BMW R 18’s (two 100 Year and one Bagger). The performance and quality of the R 18 puts Harley to shame. I also own a Ducati xDiavel and a BMW R 1250 GS Adventure. Thank goodness for Indian Motorcycle!!! Without Indian, American motorcycle culture would be an embarrassment compared to BMW and Ducati, not to mention MV Agusta and KTM.

I have two dream bikes, Pan America and Night Rot. Alas, I will never have one. Too expensive.

Never understood the amf hate. They saved the brand from certain doom and gave the name a chance where many may not have. As for quality control issues, i think it was a common theme for most manufacturers for that era and i dont think amf was worse by any means compared to other companies. As far as im concerned, AMF designed the evo engine, made a new and bettter manufacturing facility and made the company profitable again. Wasn’t poorly managed as much as it was poorly conceived by the public, hostile to change.

Harley ‘s only claim to fame is they make the most noise with the least amount of horsepower! They’re junk! My Hayabusa makes 175 hp and gets 50 mpg. I bought it used for 4700$ .

I'm not going to go into a big spu about it . But Harley Davidson dealerships will really rip you off it's up to every individual to allow them to be ripped off or not.never again will I buy a Harley.

I think for some of us the way harley helped during war times in the 19th century means more than any kinda of charts or graphs. Used to be called patriotism.

I've found that showing up to a dealership 1-2 hours before they close and having a pre-approved loan makes things go a lot quicker. I had one dealer beat my APR rate that I was pre-approved for (it was a good rate) just so they could get the loan commission.

I bought an Indian Super Chief Limited and the dealership got me for an extra $4,000 , so it's not just Harley gouging their customers. I just happened to want the bike bad enough to shell out the crazy cost. That being said, I love my bike and have no regrets about the purchase, but man American motorcycles are expensive.

Use aluminum foil below oil filter to catch the oil and drain it into your tub below. If you shape the aluminum foil correctly you will have Zero oil on your exhaust pipes or headers.

The Kantanas had 2 tooth larger rear sprocket than the naked GSX s1000 models. So what changes did you make to your front and rear sprockets compared to the stock ones. I'm guessing you went even deeper?

I don't understand people's fascination with Harley Davidson. No other motorcycle manufacturer makes an air cooled engine that large. They don't because it doesn't work. They burn through rings before water cooled bikes are even broke in. Pathetic😢

I heard black widow Harley sells at MSRP.. I think they are in Florida.. I've purchased 3 new Harley-Davidson motorcycles over the years and have never paid more than MSRP.. I own a HD road glide and a Kawasaki klr.. take the time and go ride a Harley.. some dealerships put on demo days

Well done video !!☑ I was doing research when I saw yours and you covered the part about battery warmup as did other knowlegble content I was ASE certified in 95 and this lithim ion battery info is new to me. Looks like your problem can be attibuted to Harley and the dealer not puttng thier customers first.

In years gone by, I went into the Marysville, WA Dealership to buy my first HD Sportster & got a really "Great Deal" then, a year later, when I wanted to "upgrade" for More power, the Same people at the Same Dealer told me in No uncertain terms, after going back to get my first purchase paperwork - "THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN, AGAIN" !!!

You know what the biggest problem with HD is , from the standpoint of a Motorcyclist , it's the worst thing on the Road . Ducati's at the TOP , Harley is at the absolute Fkng Bottom . And You have numerous other "Great" manufactures in between !
