Hi
Where's part 9
I most of skipped one? Sorry about that
@@North700 Yea I was hoping to get a video on the completed project
@@hummerguy there is 2 videos after #8
@@North700 Oh yea I did see one of them, did you get a video of the truck driving yet?
@hummerguy other than using it around the yard to move trailers I have never really driven it

How do you keep it airworthy? Who is going to sign off a 337 or an annual? You can't just change what you want to a certified aircraft and keep the airworthy certificate in the US. Do you have an A&P license or it's equal in Canada?
It is not a certified Aircraft, and I am not in the USA
Why do you swap a multifuel to a crap V8 Gasser?
I explain that in video one or two
Paul Pantone and Smokey Yunik in the same sentence. Okay, thats new.
In the most recent video, good example of a Geet ( Paul Pantone) setup
Good work. Please update us when you get her flying. Are you subject to Supplemental Type Certificates in Canada? I just flew an o-200 Champ and it was a pleasure.
Would this be a great investment as a daily driver in your opinion? I'm thinking of buying one to do a v8 swap like you did and have it as a do (almost) anything type o' truck. : ) Love the work you do and the effort that went into a beastly project like that. 10/10, will recommend.
Hi, and Thank you. In my opinion this is a great vehicle for what it’s meant for , BUT driving it daily would get old fast , it is heavy, slow , does not turn sharp, hot in summer, hard on fuel etc. I like the practicality of it, it will dead pull more than a 100hp 2 wheel drive tractor ( comes in handy if the stuck vehicle is far away) , if the steering is dueled up it has a lot floatation ( rivaled only by special application vehicles) , has onboard air compressor , etc etc
Man, I'm all about swaps and I love V8's but wtf swap is this?? How's it going now?
It is complete, I seldom use this vehicle, but it ready
not getting spark in mine..503 rotax
what filter system did you use??
It is a Fram remote filter base. Kit
thats awesome! was curious if theres a vid of you driving this truck on the road? id love to hear how it sounds. : D
The Sicard was a big snow blower. It had two engines: one for the truck and one for the snowblower. Two operstors, one for each engine. Hence the gauges on the pax side. I have a friend who collects Sicards. Where us this one?
This one is in Rola British Columbia ( North East of Dawson Creek BC)
How much kw alternator is that ?
3kw
🤠✌
I wanna see this driving on the road!
So would I ,Maybe this spring I’ll take it for a burn

why the electric fuel pump?
My intentional is to convert it to propane and the fuel pump would not be required then, also the original place for the fuel pump is a good location for the return line of the oil from the air compressor
can you send me the exact location of the instalation ?
Hi It’s a trial and error thing, sorry not able to be more specific.
Thank you for posting a tour. Interesting airplane.
Did you manage to sell this Tailwind?
Hi, I still have it.

im about to be doing the exact same swap but with a different bellhousing. The housing im using bolts directly to the spicer 3053a to and flat adapter on the back of the chevy engine. Pulled my engine from a running air brake truck that had a spicer 3153a behind it. So all i need is a bushing to press into the pilot bearing, bolt everything up, make 2 rear mounts and attach the chevy front crossmember to the M35A2 for the front mount. Ill be moving my radiator back to use the oem fanshrowd and make room for a hidden winch in front of that.
Right in👍looking forward to seeing it.
Hey love the duece build, keep up.the updates, saw your post from steel soldiers. It's good seeing a gasser build instead of the 5.9
Thanks John😎
what is the casting number on that flywheel housing.
I wish I knew, I thought I had a photo of it but I am unable to find it
@@North700 thanks for the reply. I just picked up a 1966 c60 for my swap but it has a typical chevy pattern type transmission. So now i gotta either use a gm transmission or find these parts.
I highly recommend finding the housing and flywheel, The housing is also the motor mount, and it is best to use the spicer trans as it has the overdrive in it. Where you located?

What MPG did u get for the jeep with HHO?
Have not filled it up since installation,
@@North700 Have you noticed any significant difference with the HHO?

It's cool that you can use automotive plugs. What a savings 😂👍👍. Nice! I have a tachometer like that too.
gotta see it driving. what year 366? mightve missed it
The older the engine the better it will run. Look for pre fuel injection engines.
what type engine? i have truck like this too but i use as sugar cane truck
GMC 366 tall deck
@@North700 ho si gasoline type?
@@depede384 yes it is

If you want any of the materials I got on the GEET, I'll be glad to email you my files I have from the old Vortex Heat Exchanger group before Yahoo shut it's group function down!
Thanks for your offer, I might take u up on it, although I think it will be later this year before I work on the geet again.
@@North700 sweet! So, how would I send the your way, because YT has been removing my messages that send links the last year and a half, possibly longer?
Would love to understand these systems. I feel like a combination of a GEET system on a small engine running a DC charging system for a electric vehicle would give us a true, zero-emission 100mpg hybrid. Absolute shame these systems have been covered up like they have been.
@@throttleblipsntwistedgrips1992 I have a crapper ton of information, do you have an email I can send you links to?
Can I have these files too
For automotive applications, you'd have to make an air management valve that worked based on linkage like the throttle systems on a vehicle, then use one or 2 modified carburetors and such to feed into your GEET Reactor. You've built a fuel reformer and I congratulate you, hello from Louisiana!!
Thank you,

That's fats and water on the bottom. Use the engine cooling system to preheat the wvo. 80F or the hotter the better, it will run On it. flash point of canola is around 600F so no worries about taking it to as hot of temp rubber hoses can handle 140F Or drain it off and not use that part. 0.01c
This was built in montreal after ww2 must be a snowblower or water tank truck
Thanks for sharing your Chang-fa story….
I know this is an old video. In my recent research it would appear that centrifuges need to have the oil ran through then warmed up and so fats in the wvo are dissolved into the oil and not spun out. Subsequently when the oil cools the days Re form and then fill out under gravity/density difference. Or stands to reason that the best way to filter wvo is using gravity
The vehicles using waste vegetable oil typically have a in-line fuel heater to keep the fuel and fats soluble, but they can be separated out if necessary
hey if you have any update please let us konw. I'm hoping to buy one.
I seldom use it, as it has the 50 cycle generator head ( for the United Kingdom?) and everything needs 60 cycle here in North America, other than that it’s fine. Only advice I can offer is that if I was to overhaul another Lister I would Source the parts from the UK. (As opposed to the place in Kansas ) .
@@North700 thanks for the reply. My requirement is to use it for about 2 hours everyday to generate electricity. Is it a good idea? Reliable wise... fuel economy wise (since it is a bit old engine)
@@shakyabandara4910 yes , very good engine, with proper maintenance will last decades
@@North700 any idea how much fuel it would use in one hour in its full capacity? ( if I use with total 4kW load)
@@shakyabandara4910 I don’t know for certain, my best estimate is 1liter /hr

Is this still for sale?
Thank you. Great info.
Good video..
What kind of alternator are you using? And how is it wired up? Great video thanks.
Hi , it is a One Wire Alternator , the kind Chevrolet uses
@@North700 thank you much obliged.
How was driving it with the new engine? And without trailing?
Have not been on the road with it, but it does seem to have more torque than the other engine had.
Many people here are against the idea of converting the engine to gasoline. They think that it is useless and will not improve the performance of the truck in terms of torque and speed. What is your advice.? I'll use it for light laod.
Well the GMC 366 and 427 Tall Deck engines are built for large commercial trucks , I do not have the exact specs but it has more than 100 foot pounds of torque over the original engine and will easily turn 1000 RPM faster . So this truck now will drive highway speed‘s and have more power (torque) With the original engine 54 miles an hour it was about Max it’s simply ran out of RPM .
@@North700 I wish I could get to 65 mph at 2800-3000 rpm, I think it is fast enough for me.
@@aburawadaljuaid3472 65 mph should be approximately 3100 rpm, very easy for this engine, One size bigger tires will drop the RPM a fair bit but not necessary
Congratulate.👍👍👍👍
Great job I love your patience, persistence and ingenuity
Thanks 🙂
Very cool swap cant wait to see it finished. Did this truck come with an air dryer from the factory if not you may can put an inexpensive one on it to catch the mist of oil from the dishcharge line.
Hi, The truck did not come with an air dryer, but I have an alcohol snifter that’ll work for that purpose. I’m looking forward to finishing it myself lol
