Have you tried looking into selling Argentum silver? It's shinier(more reflective), whiter, more silver content, doesn't tarnish, and more durable than sterling silver.

I know how to remove the tarnish but any options on how to buff it at home?

Does water need changing after each cleaning

Regular polished 925 silver looks great without being plated in rhodium. Rhodium is alright, but it makes the silver look darker. This look is nice, however, once the plating begins to wear off it won’t look nice anymore. The cost for re-plating a 925 chain with rhodium is too high. Sometimes can cost more than the chain itself. Rhodium plated is a liability, and I just can’t enjoy it knowing it’s going to wear off and look bad. Would Much rather clean my silver than deal with re-plating expenses.

I am so happy you did this video. About a year or so ago I had one of your chains played in rhodium, and I gotta say I was not very happy. It does not have the luster that silver does - yes it won’t ever tarnish. But I’ve never had a problem with your chains tarnishing.

I love it, but I can only imagine how difficult it must be to clean, as it gets tarnished. Trying to get into all those diamond cuts with a jewelry rag must be nearly impossible.

FYI Dennis showed y’all the quick and easy way. For a more intensive clean try covering the chain in baking soda, wrapping it in foil, and boiling in a pot of salted water for a few minutes. You’ll be glad you did it because I swear I get my LZJ chains looking almost brand new this way. Another tidbit of info: the copper in 925 silver doesn’t cause tarnishing, .999 silver tarnishes. Silver sulfide buildup at various stages is what tarnishing actually is. 925 silver is beautiful, white, and durable. 999 silver is a bit soft and this is why jewelers prefer using 925, simply because it is more durable for wearing.

This looks great for all silver jewelry, but we have a nice designer piece with a pearl, (given as a gift from a dearly departed aunt, so has high sentimental value as well). I know pearls are delicate and dissolve with vinegar. Will this method harm the pearl? (I also have a white gold over silver ring w/ cz that has tarnished. Nothing special, but would like to clean this too without turning the cz cloudy if possible.)

My silver jewellery chains and earring studs reacted, for some reason, with the silver liquid cleaner I've used before with no problem. Perhaps it was old. The silver came out of the liquid extremely tarnished, and I thought ruined forever. I used the method in this video, and the silver came out shiny and like new. Thank you to Luke Zion Jewelry.

26 inches and 24 chains if you were to send a chain I would want a 3mm rope chain 22 inches and i'd want the very last chain with the nicer end caps. Btw are the chains solid or hollow?
