You make the “claims” about the story, that have, dialogue that actually rebuffs your claims so on the nose, you’ve got me thinking Nolan has conquered time, and went back and wrote the script after seeing your shallow & asinine “analysis.” You might just be the Tommy Wiseau of movie breakdowns.

SY is the best band in history

There's probably about 6 or seven songs that I really like from SY. I've given them a fair shake. Waded through about 5 of their albums. Goo, probably their most radio friendly offering was for me their height, though I'm savvy enough to recognize that most fans are going to go deeper in the paint than that. Great band, undeniable influence, but ultimately I put them in the same category as Bowie. Beyond a handful of songs I can't be bothered. I was always a Dinosaur Jr. man. Bye.

I was so dissapointed by my rewatchbof Korra that it was basically if the Avatar was a cop.

I was listening to various punk bands, say misfits, ramones... but also metal, metallica, iron maiden, and even psychedelic like pink Floyd, grateful dead. I thought it was cool how punk was not about guitar solos and being a virtuoso musician, but ultimately sonic youth blew me away as it was raw punk, they were actually good musicians without going to Eddie van Halen style solos.

Sonic nurse may be my favorite album, but yeah they have a huge discography that can easily dissuade new listeners who pick the wrong place to start, they are the masters of using dissonance and I feel they have made a profound contribution to music theory that very few musicians in history achieve

I'm not a hipster and never cared about that shit that younger generations are obsessed with but I first heard sonic youth when I was 12 in 1991 and I'd never heard music like it. It was the song "mote" and I heard it randomly in an alternative radio show. I didn't know what the band looked like or anything about them but the guitars and sound just really spoke to me. A week later I saw a special show about them on MTVs 120 minutes and it literally blew my mind. I never liked Nirvana or Pixies or any of that kind of music and the "shoegaze" of the time was mostly mediocre and boring in comparison. I got all their albums over the following weeks, often cassette copies off older "cool kids" (poser assholes tbh)and they opened up my mind to new ideas about music and introduced me to so much other music from Velvets to Branca to swell maps to krautrock. I lost interest in their later music around the time of "dirty" (got into electronic music and ambient) but those early 80s albums are still my favourite guitar albums. None of my friends liked them so I always had to listen to them on my own.

Sonic youth it's my favorite band since highschool back in 2003 and it always be. I survived the hipster era and i still rock them.

The most disgusting thing this show did was trying to write a literal fascist, Kuvira as being "complex" and "having a point" I know people hate Voltron: Legendary Defender, but it's portrayal of fascism as a evil force that consumes and destroys everything it touches is how I think fascists should be portrayed in fictional media. Not like this
