As a kid I really liked how the alien parasites looked like just round cube bodies kinda cute little guys rolling around until they get incinrated.

The general rule with movies is the tighter and more efficient the script is, the better the end product is. Somehow, Luc Besson gets away with saying: I want a 10 minute sci-fi airliner take-off scene with glowing radioactive tubes, Jamaican ground crews, a garbage collector strike, Chris Tucker as a sci-fi MC getting it on with a stewardess, sleep pods, Zog getting in another bizarrely funny one liner, exploding telephones, and flamethrowers burning off alien landing gear parasites. I'm at a loss to explain how any of this worked.

I love that moment when he says “come on,” then they pause for a long moment, just staring at each other as another rebel passes between them, then he points at her and goes “ahh-HAAAA!!!” The comic timing there is flawless. 😂

When I was growing up, the stewardesses in this scene and her being gone down on made me feel things I didn't understand fully - but I feel like this and sneaking a viewing of Barbed Wire on VHS when I was left home alone were my sexual awakening XD MAN I wish we had 5th Element stewardesses and sleeping booths you can roll into on intercontinental flights. I'd look FORWARD to a 13 hour flight for once. Also, EVERYONE in the main roles in this film - Milla, Chris, Bruce, Gary - 100% PERFECT casting. I was disappointed as a kid when I later found out she doesn't actually have that mega-cute way of speaking (Jovovich). She's still great though. Especially in this. I had SUCH a crush on this character.

Thier voices went down an octave from the first movie and were they making this up as they went ? God this movie was bad !
