How has this topper held up for you after two years? Is it used very often?
TBH I don't have solid dark brown hair anymore so I haven't worn it in a while. But the Claire is by far my fave from Uniwigs.

The topper I have[ which I'm returning] makes the hairline look so fake, and the top of my head looks like a bubble head. :(
It needs to be a bit further forward as the join can be seen how it is, just half an inch would make a big difference. A halo under it would be better for your hair and not as time consuming either ..
I can't wait to get one til I regrow my damaged hair
Wow, you look great with this topper! Are you still enjoying it? I noticed you didn't use any glue or tape for the lace front, is it not necessary for this particular topper? I am new to toppers and heard another youtuber mentioned that all lace front toppers need to be glued or taped down?
Gosh, thanks so much! Because I was putting this one a little further back and having my hair at the front, I didn't feel the need too. I was able to pin it pretty tight and flat. BUT if you are putting it in front of your hair line and there isn't much hair to grab onto, I would for sure attempt glue. I didn't feel like I needed to with this topper but I do think some of the other ones I have are harder to pin flat and I also feel like my hair has thinned out even more so I can see it being beneficial to glue. Im just lazy!!!

You are beautiful!! Your hair is beautiful!! I have a similar situation to what you have, where my hair is fine, thin and yes it falls flat unless I tease it which I hate to do because it is damaging. Currently, I wear Cashmere hair extensions and it takes forever to put them in, curl and then trying to tease the crown so it doesn't look like a rat's nest. Could you tell me if you tease the crown of this topper?? Also, are they more expensive than hair extensions??
Hi Sheri! So sorry for the delay! I missed your reply! Yes, and now that I am over 40, I have noticed much more receding and thinness because I am so aware of it. I don't tease ever, I am WAY to lazy and always late on timing! I do use texture sprays and dry shampoos and volume sprays on my own hair to help and for the topper, it doesn't need any teasing at all. Not for my liking anyway, I feel weird now if I have too much volume. They are quite pricey but I would say depending on the extensions, quite similar price points and I know that uniwigs has sales very often! This one isn't the right colour for my hair anymore so I often wonder if there is a chance to pass these along or if that is a faux pas these days lol!

gah! I'm sorry girl! I know these things can really be an investment. I hear you on the bills except thankfully being in Canada I get a reprieve from most of that. Our prescriptions and dental are so pricey tho! This brand has sales all the time and I also love that a lot of stores are now doing the split payment options!

oh gosh!! first of all, so sorry I missed this! which did you go for? I honestly love the upgrade so that's what I would do given the choice but I think the Claire line in general is the best!!!

Why the hell would one go to all that trouble ! For what? Just wear a topper. It must ruin ones hair with all that hard ware in there , going to bed would be a nightmare ,sorry but you don’t look all that good after all that effort , you could do better using your own hair
Thanks for your feedback. Like I mentioned, my hair was pretty short, hence adding a few clip ins. I no longer do that as my hair is long enough to blend now but snapping in a few clips isn't time consuming and I never sleep in a topper. Hope that clarifies. What color is that? Your bio hair color is the same as mine. I got the claire a while back in the cream soda and then my stylist added roots and streaked in some lowlights for me.. But i had the hardest time getting my bio hair to blend.. I've always dyed it blonde but I'm thinking instead I might get a darker topper this time and try my bio color.. Since Claire, I've tried a few wigs, but no synthetic wig has come close to the hair quality I had in my claire!

Hey!! I havent ever felt it coming up in the front but I also have enough hair to keep it clamped pretty tight to my head.
Just ordered one! I have a topper by Sharon which I enjoy but it’s a bit too heavy ..even after cutting and thinning it out. Hoping this will give me some volume without the bulk. Thank you for your video.

It arrived today and I am disappointed. Debating whether I want to take the time to customize it or just return it. I expected the color to be off but the hair has this fake shininess to it and odd short strands that kind of sticks out. So.... is it worth plucking the part to make it look real, cutting the front so it will lay flat and trying to cadd color to make it blend better.....today, I’m thinking no. I’ll see if I feel differently tomorrow.

Wow! You look fantastic! I'm starting to look for toppers. I feel you when you say flat with no volume... I like that you do the opposite of others in your both reviews. Its real hair and the base is well vented. I rarely have to redo the curl but i live in canada lol. Im assuming it would hold up well in the heat because of that tho. I wouldnt sleep in it because the clips would pull on your hair but yes you can wash it!

You look amazing!! I mean you're beautiful without it, but the topper looks really good on you. I've been on the fence between Claire and the Bella.. I really want to try the lace front but I like that you can wear it back on your hairline too. That and I want the wefting in the back. It looks great on you. If you haven't done it already, I've seen a lot of people pluck some hair from their topper hand have good results. Just be careful and don't research.
